I’d definitely take valuable belongings inside from your car though, as you should with every motel/hotel. Bathroom shower had a couple of stains but I think that’s just from age than anything else (room 124). Would recommend!”

Now the staff Ms Britney & Josh are doing their very best of what they got to work with,but the maintenance team could do a little better to make sure everything gets done accordingly . “This is a new, beautiful and very clean hotel. The rooms were well furnished and the front desk staff both day and night shift were excellent! I definitely recommend staying here if you are traveling through. The only drawback to this hotel is that you can't not pay with cash, they would only accept payment with a card, they wouldn't even take extra cash to use as a deposit for any incidentals which creates the need for a card.”

“Went to Waves resort to attend the annual Kiwanis bingo in support of children's programs. The resort itself is bright, modern, spacious and has interesting rustic decor made from reclaimed trees and stumps. There's a restaurant and bar on the main floor by the entrance. The bingo was held in a hall on the second floor courtesy of the resort. The resort had beverages and light meals available for purchase in the hall. It was a very suitable venue for the event and participants had a lot of fun.”

“Nice and accommodating. Comfortable beds. Smells wonderful. Staff was amazing. Clean. Found one small cockroach in our room by the TV, when we first arrived, but never saw any more the rest of our stay. Did not get a chance to enjoy the breakfast there due to our commitments, however they do serve breakfast. Has a pool and hot tub outside but again we did not get a chance to indulge in relaxation too much.”

Long story short, we needed a hotel quickly and when I called Candlewood Suites in Buda, Rossie quickly took care of our needs over the phone. Not only was she professional, she was sympathetic and really helped to alleviate the stress I was under. When we arrived, we found the room extremely clean and spacious. The water pressure is great and you can do laundry at their facilities, which is a God-send when you’re traveling with a toddler and pets. Thank you so much to Rossie for helping my family feel at home. She is a true testament to the fact that one nice person can really change your entire day/outlook.”
