“It is very neat to see. You can tell they did a lot to get it setup, but has been neglected for a long time. Still, our kids absolutely love it here. We come regularly and it's a favorite even when it's closed. Please come and visit. Perhaps they'll invest some more money into keeping it up.”

“Upon entering this odd repository of curd transformation you wriggle through a wall of holes made to look like a slice of Swiss cheese. This certainly set the stage for the experience ahead! After passing through the crowds viewing the fascinating display of “Cheesecloths of the World”, we entered the live demonstration of rennet harvesting. I recommend this only for the strong-of-stomach in the group. We next saw actual cheesewizards (their term) “pulling” mozzarella cheese to perfection. Near the end everyone gets their own tub of mascarpone and a spoon to enjoy while participating in the traditional Italian cream cheese Tarantella led by Emil the proprietor on his violin made of string cheese. We will definitely return on our next visit! Thank you Emil!”

“Been here 2x with my family and we love this place. It has a beautiful nature walk on the marsh with an amazing exhibit of the otters as part of the Marsh Exhibition. My only gripe is that SOME, not all, of the exhibits are a bit out dated. Regardless every exhibit was still fun and informative. We can't wait to go back again this summer.”

“Before moving out of state, we visited all of the play museums in DFW and this was definitely our favorite for their selection of toys as well as friendliness of the staff. The plane/travel theme was so cool, my boys loved playing with their awesome train setup. The staff was always super friendly and welcoming. Parking is easy (right out front) and the place was always really clean. Definitely recommend!”

“Awesome place! Please don’t let the fact that it’s categorized as an “art museum” mislead you. The work of very talented artists are being displayed, BUT it’s intense use of light, sound, touch, and even timing and transition of color was AMAZINGLY STIMULATING! This is a great place for kids and adults who require auditory and visual stimulation. TOTALLY MOOD EVOKING! THERAPEUTIC!”

“I had an amazing experience while visiting the Lenora Rolla Museum. The museum was very clean and extremely organized. I was provided with a tour by the Executive Director of the museum, Mrs Brenda Sanders Wise. She is extremely knowledgeable about the artifacts housed in the museum and when she tells the story about the contribution that African Americans made to Tarrant County, Texas and beyond, it is a history lesson that I will never forget, one that will always be etched in my heart and soul. I give much thanks and appreciation to the Tarrant County Black Historical & Genealogical Society Organization, for their unwavering commitment of keeping the African American Heritage alive, in the City of Ft. Worth Texas.”
