“Very friendly people, nice pool and a peaceful setting. Facilities seem to be a touch on the old-ish side, but they keep it clean and functional. Well be going back when I get the chance, if I get another chance...”

“Very sublime part of the seawall. A common rest stop. The view is very unique both during the day and night. There is a sitting area with a large shade cast by 2 ship sails.”

“Very well done tribute to the Lone Star Flag and its world renowned State. Located off interstate 45North, easy off, easy on access. When in season, Texas Blue Bonnets amass at the foot of the footpath. A note about the Flag that I'm holding: this Texas Flag travels the world over with me. I fly it proudly in all my lodgings (first choice is in the window, so all can see).”

“Perfect scenic little drive to East Texas, on Highway 146 between Liberty and Livingston. Frequent wildlife sightings, beautiful pine trees in different stages of growth, open fields with freshly bailed hay. Much more relaxing than battling I-59! The foliage is just now slipping into it's brilliant fall colors in the last few weeks.”

“Had a good walk, wish there were dirt trails, like goat island preserve. For a cyclist or runner the wide concrete pathway would fit the bill. Not a good place to go unless the wind is from north, west. Landfill to the south stinks! Only reason not 5 star!”

“I don’t remember going here, but I remember parking behind a VW with a homeless guy sleeping in the front seat. He had a tuxedo on and smelled like apples. Definitely going back soon m, I hope he is okay.”

“St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church is beautiful. The community room has a Labyrinth on its tile floor. There is a patio with a fountain outside. And there is a community garden on the north side. The sanctuary is open and lovely. Best of all, they permit The Women's Chorus of Dallas to rehearse there from time to time. We really love the church and the people who are so generous!”

“This was my first time here and first time experiencing Shakespeare. This was a very intimate experience. While it was very casual, some people turned it formal. You can bring your own table and chairs or rent them there cheap. You can bring your own food and drink also. Some people were eating chips and sandwiches while drinking water or cokes, while others were having steak dinners with a nice scotch, still others having a burger and a beer or wine and cheese”
