“I have had many friends, made many friends, and have lost many good friends. Tomorrow I I am going to a funeral of one of the best of those friends. People here are like family. Lots of dog and cat lovers. Still have deer, coyotes, raccoons, all kinds of birds, armadillos, road runners, snakes... This is a place in the middle of up and coming area of lost civilization. God's little secret.”

Very happy, we will be calling him again to do other work for us. Even cut & stacked the wood so we had firewood! Did exactly what I asked of him. Very satisfied!”

“The trail has really come a long way, and the hard work of the trail crew really shows. The signage is good, trail is flowy, and has a good mix of beginner and medium features. It's a real asset to the community and something every city should look to offer.”

“This park is so big and it has everything you’d need in a park. There are walking trails, pet cleanup stations, a modern play set for kids, lots of open space, sand volleyball court, and a basketball court. The park has lights so the play area is well lit in the dark. There are portable outdoor toilets and trash and available as well. It’s walking distance from my house. I love it!”

“An injured doe came on to our property. I had no idea what to do. I called the sanctuary and was able to speak to a very knowledgeable and helpful woman that educated me immensely. I am appreciative that she was able to calm me down and help! Thank you from those of us who are blessed to live amongst precious wildlife. We must be more knowledgeable about those we share our land with.”

“Great little place. I was looking for some basic organic amendments and could not find them at 4 different stops in Bastrop. They had them here, so I was pretty happy. I came close to closing time so I didn't get to check out the grounds as much as I would have like. I will return for plants in future.”

“What an awesome place with tons of amenities to have fun all day! We went to the Oil Ranch today 11/11/2022 for a field trip and it became a favorite really quick, will definitely go back. I'm told they have a great light display during Christmas so check them out for that! The price of your ticket includes all their fun activities such as duck races, horse rides, pumpkin patch, train ride, hay ride, barn and petting zoo and lots more! 😀 Everyone who worked there today was super sweet, very respectful, and very patient! I think I speak for my little family when I say we can't wait to go back!!! Thank you, Oil Ranch for a very memorable experience! ❤️”

“Planning and coordinating a funeral while still in disbelief and grieving is absolutely difficult to say the least. Working with Chris and Amanda simplified the situation as best as they could given all the circumstances surrounding the planning. This funeral home was patient to our needs and asks yet they communicated with transparency and empathy to our feelings. Thank you Amanda and Chris for being there for us and making adjustments where needed even if was to our favor or another side of the family. We know you don't have an easy job when it comes to split family funeral arrangements, but you both were amazing and delegated in a respectable manner.”

“OK starting with Byron Stewart Park was name on sign. See photo... now we took Rowdy on his outing there. He loved it. Not a lot of people but, enough to be able to walk and not worry about someone wanting to pet dog, yell at kids or PSA People (you know who you are....lol). There are pavillion, soccer goals, trails, walking paths, picnic tables and more. Geese and duck didn't run after us looking for food or to attack us or dogs. Means we haven't ruined them by chasing, feeding, scaring, hunting or other things. It was a really peaceful day. Love this park. I think you will too. It is a place you can go with family, friends or by yourself to relax, reflect or exercise. People were fishing, jogging, picnicking, playing with pets, playing with family, and BBQing. so, try to have a great time in anything you choose to do there. Remember please to keep it clean, cleanup after your pets, and have a blessingly GREAT time.”

“Great park! There are a lot of areas to walk along the water and see ducks and beavers. The playgrounds are also really nice. They have a section for little kids and more elementary school kids. These sections are really close so it is easy to see the littles on both. They also have plenty of benches and tables. They have public restrooms available if needed. Over all my nieces really enjoyed playing here and we will be back”

“Nice park hidden away in the town of Flower Mound. Never knew it existed until a couple of days ago. Great place to just go and just clear the head and calm the noise. Great place for a couple of Instagram worth shots with the butterfly garden, the water sheds and the trees. Walk around the edge and just little to the breeze and leaves rattling in the wind as your eyes take in all the changing colors around. It was very calming. Just one note of advise ...watch your step. My wife was trying to get a shot of the garden and didn't notice a fire ant mound until she stepped in it. She was pretty quick to notice and only got a couple of bits but they hurt.”
