“AL's Hideaway has wonderful chill and we look forward to our next visit. The outdoor kitchen, cabins, and outdoor restrooms are very nice and accommodating. We highly recommend the tee-pees. The hosts are great people who make your stay here an enjoyable retreat, whether for a weekend quickie or a bit longer. We have absolutely no complaints, just great memories. Thank you Al's Hideaway!”

“Not a bad place to stay however it is rather expensive compared to other places. The management is good, some of the residents are crazy and some are really nice, and the water is free. You do have to pay for electricity however. A laundromat is next door so it’s convenient!”

“Just around the corner from the duck pond, the pool has 2 lap lanes permanently set, while offering the additional space for family recreation. For entertaining the kids, they have set up a sprayer that casts water out about 1/3 of the way(wide) into the pool, creating a heavy rain-like effect.. There is also a 13 foot deep diving board area that teens and adults seem to enjoy. For the very little ones, there is a shallow pool of swirling water that looks fun. The playscape area, while not huge, is decent and offers visitors of the duck pond some additional activities that their kids might enjoy compared to the playground there.”

“I haven't swum in 5 years but have started back. This facility is designed in the 1960s style which is unfortunate for a facility built in 2008. The Plano West swim team deserves a better facility to use for a team that in prior years have turned out state champions. In addition during certain times of the day it is tough to find Swim Lap Lane Availability. The water temperature is good for lap swimming. Not too hot not too cold.”

“Very quiet at night with no traffic noise. We got to listen to the sounds of nature and even an owl in the tree above us. The water is great for swimming. Each spot comes with a picnic table, grill, and fire pit. However, I would warn campers not to reserve a spot near #21 as we were not in a very scenic area and very close to the portable toilet. Maybe go and scout it out one day before planning your camping trip.”

“It is a small park and it doesn't have many things but it is a good place to run and do a workout, or to hang out with friends on the playground, it has a large terrain to run around and many swings to play on. Not very people visit because of the location but it honestly makes you feel more at peace if you just go and sit on one of the many benches.”

“Great use of other wise wasted space. It's a nice little park on the water. Once you get in it and start looking around. There are interesting facts about Hampton. So you can hanout in a park by the water and learn some local history. That pretty awesome if you ask me.”
