“CountryView RV is an amazing park with incredible owners and guests. Extremely well-kept park with on site owners who quickly respond to all and any conditions that arise. Hook ups all in excellent condition and grassy spaces between each site. Gorgeous sunsets and helpful neighbors Very personable group and family like attitudes with everyone looking out for each other. The lake views are beautiful, the public restrooms and laundry rooms (two!) are always clean and in working order. Coye and Terry host social events for us all and there have been some very stimulating conversations around the fire pit as well as some local music talent shared! The donkey and horses love their carrot treats and there is plenty of wildlife to spot on a quiet evening. Great views of July 4th fireworks in every direction!!! I stayed for a year and plan to return as soon as possible. No highway noise and very serene setting. You can’t miss this one if you’re smart!!!!”

“My grand kids go often. Its quite, clean with 2 play grounds that have plenty to play on for all ages. Big base or field to have a family fun game. Only issue the grass if full of sticker burs so not so much to take pets..”

“We love dog boys ranch for our big boy, Bud! They have helped us socialize him during the pandemic, and they are great to tell us how his day went each time. He comes home happy and exhausted. We’ve also used their trainers, who are awesome as well. Definitely a great place!”

“I call this park the hidden little gem. It’s ty led away in a neighborhood so it makes it more private and less busy than the more public parks. It has a surprisingly big playground area and a large splash pad and a huge grassy field. There’s also a really spacious, clean, covered picnic area that’s perfect for gatherings and birthday parties”

“It's a nice place to bring the family. The playground equipment is safe and fun, there's ample room for dogs to run around or play a game of soccer, there's a basketball court, picnic pavilion with grill, and benches spaced nicely for tired parents to sit and watch the kiddos. I took off a star because park facilities need to replace the shade covers over the play area; they're torn and flapping in the wind (also graffiti, but that's not their fault).”

“Serene, beautiful and a rare boating experience that is almost entirely under a canopy of trees. If you must speak, keep your voice low for the best wildlife viewing experiences. There are currently no boats to rent at this park. For now, all paddlers BYOB. (B for boat, NOT beer.) A short trail marked with 73 buoys, you should use a leisurely pace for optimal enjoyment. You can pack your snacks and water very lightly.”

“We love Elf Acres! They have added so many lights, displays and features this year! It's truly magical and you can tell they love not only their venue but the families and children that come to visit. Santa is amazing, the food is great and they even have light up toys for the kids! I highly recommend taking your family here.”

“This is one of the most popular spots to enjoy the Dallas skyline. Parking is available in a lot nearby, but most of it is limited to one hour parking. I'm not sure if it's strictly enforced, but be aware before going. There isn't any other convenient parking location nearby so get here a little earlier than you planned for. Trails lead to the top of the levee or to the bottom of the river depending on where you want to urban hike.”
