“This location of Traveler's World offers RV camping and tiny house/cabin rentals. I made reservations and stayed there for 3 days in my RV. The staff was very friendly and helpful, to the point of offering bus transit route maps and scheduled bus stop times. A north bound bus stop is located across the street while a southbound bus stop was located about 50 feet from the door of Traveler's World. Between the location of Traveler's World and the bus stops it was very easy to visit the Alamo, several missions and the river walk. The amenities at Traveler's World are well maintained while the overall feel of the entire facility was homey, clean and safe.”

“This park is family friendly. I love the fence and coded gate access for security. The kids love the popcorn, snack machine and swimming pool. We enjoy sitting in the many rocking chairs and looking out over the water. I like the big outdoor kitchens with TVs. There is plenty of cement to ride your bike on. And it is pet friendly as long as you don’t leave them unattended and clean up the mess. The management is awesome.”

The manager Brenda was the most helpful and a gentleman that helps maintain the place as well. So friendly! The people there go out of their way to make it a safe, clean, enjoyable environment! “Stayed here fo the "shoulder season" month of March. First two weeks, the weather was foggy and cool. Second 2 weeks were much nicer. The campground itself was nice and clean. Some of the amenities needed some improvement, but it looked as though they were working hard to keep up with maintenance. Park is reasonably priced for where it is and it's located away from the hustle of Galveston but within easy driving distance. I would not hesitate to stay here again as a destination park.”

“We stayed her for about a month. It's a quiet RV park in the country. It has a pond with ducks in the middle and onsite laundry. The road through the park is a little rough but nothing too bad. Only downside was while we were there it rained ALOT and our RV spot was just mud, our RV sunk into the ground while pulling in and our trucks were constantly sinking into mad pulling in and out. The owner however, came out multiple times to level out the ground for us which was really nice. He was having gravel brought in once we left to help with the mud issues. It is a simple RV park but it's nice an quiet. It's a good RV park for the price!”

“At Spoonbill RV park they have a very friendly staff felt just like family, they make you feel right at home. This RV park has a nice area to fish, campsites are clean. We had a very nice peacefull week there, I caught my first fish, a black drum (wearing red), we caught several of them, others caught other kind of fish I'm new to the fishing game so this was a pretty exciting experience for me and my husband we can't wait to go again to relax, do some more fishing, and enjoy the view.”
