“I’ve been waiting for Bois D’Arc Lake to open for years. I’ve also wanted to take my wife to hunt for fossils at Ladonia Park. There was one more area attraction I wanted to check out: the aforementioned Bois D’Arc General Store. With hot summer breathing down our necks, it seemed like the best plan was to be on the road from Wylie this morning, hunt for fossils a while, then go to Nana‘a General Store. It’s a most likable little place. WOW, Nana’s bacon burger on a brioche bun was delicious. The burger, bacon, abs bread were a perfect combination. But, then, there was the pizza special with barbecue pulled pork and onion slices on it. The pizza crust was tender but not mushy. The toppings: well, they completely fit the pizza. I’m here to tell you that this was the perfect one-two punch. The tots that came on the side were delicious! But, then, I overheard all the peeps who were coming in asking about her banana pudding: “Geez’ that’s going fast. We were just here yesterday and it’s almost gone.” “Yeah. We had some people who’d come from a couple hundred miles away to get it”, she responded. My wife doesn’t like banana pudding: full stop. Well, we have to check this out. It was the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. My wife even liked it: not a little, a lot. “It has all these layers in it and these pieces of like lady-finger pastries in it. How could you possibly go wrong?” So, peeps! Go get a burger, a pizza, or both. Then, pray to God there’s a slice of BP (not the petroleum company) waiting for you. Obviously, we’ll be back. “We researched for months on who to use for our kitchen remodel. When we had our first meeting with Frank, we knew he was the right guy for our project. He was detailed, realistic, committed, and timely with all his advice, and design ideas, and gave us a clear understanding of the scope of the project. We loved the quality of cabinetry that he built and the companies he worked with. His shop is top-notch, and the quality of work that he and his son give is what we expect when you are remodeling a kitchen. They constantly went the extra mile to make sure everything was done to his standard and ours! We knew he was building durable and beautiful pieces. Our process to build out our kitchen was very detailed and on our timeline, which we liked. We did not feel rushed, but we wanted to be confident in our choices and he gave us that. Our kitchen remodel process was smooth, efficient, and timely. He blew us away with how fast he demoed and rebuilt our entire kitchen. He planned each step of our remodel thoroughly and with multiple CAD drawings which gave us as the client a lot of confidence in his work. He triple-checks everything and we love that! Our old kitchen was gutted, everything was removed, including walls and pantry. Our new kitchen is more functional, organized, and beautiful. We double the amount of countertop space and cabinetry, it flows better in our home, and the design compliments everything else beautifully. Frank saw that I had a vision for our kitchen. He had great advice and was a huge source of knowledge for us, but he also stepped back when I had a certain design style that was different than his, and let me design our kitchen with ease. Frank and his team are incredible people and are devoted to their clients. We are so thankful we found Unity Creative Cabinets, and that we had the expertise of Frank and his team to complete the job on schedule and with exceptional quality products.
