Michael is professional and efficient with your time while still being personable and providing a relaxing atmosphere. He has a fantastic ear and will point out things from an outside perspective that will make your sound better. He's encouraging and complimentary while still at times letting you know if something could be better, which is incredibly valuable because you know that when he's happy with something you will be happy with it. In the mixing and mastering process he works quickly and addresses your feedback directly while also giving his perspective on what will sound best. It is truly a collaborative effort which to me produces the best results. I am super picky about the sound I'm going for and working with Michael, we were able to nail it. At the same time I would often use words like atmospheric, sound scapey, ethereal, dirty, and dark - which if I were in his shoes would drive me crazy - but he got it. If you're wanting a great sounding recording at a difficult to beat cost, you'd be hard pressed to top Civil Audio. We plan on going back for the next one.”

“My husband and I have loved meal proz so far. I'm shocked by how tasty all but one of the meals has been!!! I had a full salmon filet and broccoli once, and then the next night a salmon cake and green beans and I didn't even notice I had salmon two nights in a row! I could never cook so much great food ahead of time and I'm glad this place exists for us. We're busy people and try as we might try to cook nutritional meals, we just don't and get fried fast food instead, and we don't feel good afterwards! The only dish I haven't liked so far was chicken fried rice. I thought the chicken was overcooked and I think it should have been named grilled chicken over rice and carrots, because that's more like what it tasted like. I actually might have cooked it for 2:30 in the microwave rather than 2 minutes. I'm not sure. Turkey meatballs and spaghetti were good too.”
