“Absolutely loved my experience with One of A Kind Pony Party! A two-person team brought a rainbow unicorn (pony with rainbow spray-painted hair and a very nice headband horn) to my house for my daughter's birthday and took her and some other kids on rides (leading the pony by the halter) up and down the street. They traveled all the way from Waxahachie to Richardson for the party. The pony was very calm and inviting, even around squealing children. Prices are so, so affordable for the great services you can get! The animals look happy and well-taken care of as well. I will definitely be using One of A Kind Pony Party in the future. Thank you for a wonderful day, y'all!”

“My daughter wanted to go to The Farmyard to see cows and other farm animals. It’s definitely rustic. The owner is very friendly and full of interesting information. We fed the animals and rode one of the horses. This is a great place for kids. Only minutes from San Antonio.”

“Could use some love in the grass and lighting. Great dog owners make the place. Lots of space and places to throw dog waste. Needs more seating and dog fountain never works, even after it was rebuilt. Week later out of order.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by this roadside attraction! It surpassed my expectations! Our kids had a blast and enjoyed the plethora of animals. I didn't like that there was no restroom, just portable potties, but oh well. Also, they probably let more people in than they should have on this particular busy day. It was difficult to distance while observing the snakes. All in all, though, great place!”

“We used Cathy's Critters for our National Night Out event. They were wonderful to work with and make the entire planning process very easy. It was a hit with the crowd as they had a line of people waiting to experience the animals the entire time. The feedback I received was overwhelmingly positive. If you want a fun and unique experience for your next event, and an easy turn-key planning process, then you should use Cathy's Critters!”

“This is just a fantastic place to take kids. It's a wonderful little petting zoo where you can pet gentle animals. My two young children were fascinated. I knew this was nearby but we had never been before. My children enjoyed it so much when a petting zoo visited their preschool that I thought we might check out this local spot. It's a jewel. I highly recommend it!”

“Fantastic zoo but if you're not a member will get pricey super fast. For a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids 3 or over) you're looking at $70 just to park and enter. Add giraffe feeding at $5, carousel & train at $2 a ticket. Extra for the monorail, bird feeding, snacks and easy an extra $30 for lunch. You could easily drop $100+ here without really trying. If you're going to visit more than once I highly recommend becoming a member”

“We had a really good time at the San Antonio zoo. It was busy on Sunday with so many people there. The lines were long and it was crowded. The animals look great and in good condition for the most part. The zoo itself is nice and organized. The food and drink can be really expensive, as expected. I recommend this zoo and we'll go back again. Fun time for families!”

“We attended a private party for work that offered private viewings of the sea creatures at the Moody Garden Aquarium. We got to wonder about the the pyramid with adult beverages and appetizers. It was quiet and peaceful. We were allowed to touch the jellyfish at the touch tank. We were served a meal of salmon, steak, and chicken with awesome sides and . The desserts were incredible. They were all catered by the Moody Hotel. Great fun!!!!!”

“Highly recommend for kids or adults. We spent several hours here watching all the birds and trying to find the hidden monkeys. The are huge fish to see . It was thoroughly enjoyable and well worth the money. Definitely would go back. The earlier you arrive the better. While going down there is only one path to go and it can get crowded if many families are going at once. Fun for all though.”

“A unique experience! Decided to bring our daughter during spring break and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we checked in we were greeted with smiling faces. We had the option to buy food to feed the animals ($5 each) which I highly recommend. It’s not everyday you get to feed huge tortoises, alligators and elands. Our tour guides were all great! Matthew was very funny, knowledge and passionate about his job. At the end we all got to pet a few reptiles which was awesome. Thank you Crocodile Encounter for a memorable experience!”

“We visited the Houston zoo for the first time in about 15 years. They have made so many improvements and are still adding more exhibits. We are looking forward to seeing the new Texas wetlands exhibit, it will open this summer. We had a 9 and 15 year old with us and they enjoyed it too. The little elephant Tilly, entertained us with her playing in the mud. We can't wait to visit again.”

“Visited the zoo on December 10, 2018, Monday. The zoo has a good assortment of animals, is clean, has a lot of snacks and food available, and a lovely pond in the entrance. The parking lot is free, external, therefore not covered. I recommend feeding lettuce to the giraffes (twice a day) and the gorillas. The gorillas inside the "aquarium" are playful, and sit close to the glass, so one can get a very close look at them.”

“So awesome. It's not fancy like a city zoo, but you really get up close and personal with the animals. I prefer it to the Houston zoo for that reason. I had my 5 year olds birthday party there and everyone had a great time. Mostly hooved exotics, very cool. The pony rides were very popular with the kids, and petting the deer named buster. My favorite was feeding the bison. No cats or monkeys, but a lot of neat animals free ranging around.”
