Did it promptly portions were huge. I bought two plates it fed my buddy my husband and I then dinner that night between 3 adults again as well. I spent about 25 bucks but I also ordered 4 egg rolls that were super good too. They were friendly. They could tell I had never been and guided me to get comfortable. It was going to be about 10 mins. They make everything fresh and quick. We got 2 lol mein combination plates and 4 egg rolls.”

“I drive from Austin to Bastrop every other week just so I can buy their barbecue sandwiches and have plenty of leftovers. It is that delicious and nothing like I have ever eaten. I drive about 35 minutes one way to get here and stock up on what I need and head home. The barbecue is SO tender and the sauce is perfect. This past visit, I purchased the beef jerky which I wasn’t too keen on but the honey and other snacks were great! The roasted pecans are to die for! I’m not a big fudge person so I can’t really grade it and be fair. The store is always clean, always busy, and everyone is always friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better place! The only thing I wish they would do is put a few picnic tables out on the outskirts of the parking lot so we can eat dinner outside. I don’t know the reason but Bucees does not have any dine in tables. I’m sure they have a good reason just like the “no truckers” rule. You basically have to eat out of your car, which I happily do but would be great to sit outside and eat before heading back. Great place though!”
