(March 10, 2020, 12:50 pm)We brought in a plant for identification and they went out of their way to find an answer for us. The drive there is scenic. Its located off a winding road in a Deep Creek neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. It was a slow afternoon and we were the only customers. The place is beautiful. There are greenhouses and gardens to explore. They have a lovely fish pond with a somewhat famous fish who likes to play dead. The shop offers local hand made goods and yard art. The prices are reasonable compared to any other gift shop. The staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall a very nice day trip. Highly recommended. Oh and it was a type of yucca plant. Thanks White's!

I have a special helper there that helps me out with out with ALL my questions and she's knowledgeable about their plants and flowers. All i wish was that they had a clearance section but a girl can dream.

(November 21, 2016, 2:05 pm)I learned that Mr. White (who I saw working on a Sunday while touring one of the greenhouses) started this business 60 years ago when he was 25 years old. I did not speak to him but I can tell that his passion is what built this place, which is an amazing place I must add. Whites Nursery really is more than you might think it is during your first visit. They reach out to the community with free events for people, and there is no expectation to buy anything afterwards. But you probably will decide to buy something anyway, because their prices are great and their employees care about the customer and it is evident that they love what they do.
