  Have been a member since it first opened. I particularly enjoy the water aerobics classes. Over the many years, I’ve had many instructors. One of my favorites is Terri. Love her rock and roll music. She makes the classes fun and is reliable. Right now she is teaching all of the classes except 1. We need more instructors and weekend classes.

  I have had excellent experiences at this Y. The water aerobics for people with arthritis is excellent. Terri is the teacher who brings her own music and designs the best set of water set of exercises for people like me. She is warm and friendly. I recommend anyone who needs to build core muscles but have chronic pain to try the water aerobics classes with Terri at the Reston Y.
  And I must also gives a hats off to the great life guards!! They watch over us, and help me get my cane after class. They open doors when I am moving slowly and have the best attitudes. I leave the Y with a big smile due to being with such good people!!

  5 stars for Terri & the water aerobics classes. I returned to the Y after my retirement for the Water aerobics. Terri is an awesome instructor. My strength & stamina have improved greatly. I can now pick up & carry my 30lb granddaughter!! I really feel so much better after class!! I do wish there were more morning classes. Sometimes it's hard to switch gears in the middle of the day to get to class.

  After a 2 year hiatus, I re-joined the Y in February 2022. I'm so glad I did. I'm thrilled with the new group exercise classes being offered for all levels and led by AWESOME instructors (David, Sean, Mimi, Lisa, Sarah to name a few) under the guidance of Melinda who brings passion for teaching the classes she leads. I love the fact that the instructors provide an atmosphere of encouragement and guidance to motivate us to enhance our wellbeing and that's huge to me. Also, I'd be remiss to not mention Vince at the front desk, who cheerfully welcomes every member by name that walks in. Thank you for all you do!

  My favorite, friendly, inclusive gym! I've been a member for 20 years and appreciate the Y's mission, outstanding group classes, and first class facility. Favorite's are Lisa's 9:00 Saturday Kickboxing class and mornings at 6:15!
