Front staff Michelle was very helpful. After I asked the front desk MULTIPLE times to assure I would only pay my copay. Visit was fine, besides the hour and a half wait at opening because the practitioner “was running late”. NP was great though. Just got a bill in the mail of a couple hundred $, because the NP was not in network of my insurance, when I had asked about this at walk-in. Pay privately, avoid getting billed hundreds by mail.”

“I recently had a telemedicine consult with Dr. Chehrenama and I am so beyond grateful that I did. I've been dealing with chronic, daily, debilitating headaches for the past 7 years. I've been a patient of a well-known, revered neurologist in Pittsburgh for the past 5 of those 7 years. Despite this neurologist being known as a pioneer in the field of neurology, nothing recommended or prescribed ever worked. I tried upwards of 20 different medications (preventative and cycle breakers) as well as Botox injections and 2 of the newly FDA approved injections for migraines. Not one thing worked. Nothing gave me headache-free days and only one or two things helped take the pain down a notch or two, but still nothing significant. At the point that I had the consult with Dr. Chehrenama, I was feeling very discouraged. I felt like the neurologist's office I was a patient at had written me off because none of their "usual" methods worked on me. I felt like there weren't any more options available to me. By the time that consultation ended, I didn't feel like I was at the end of my rope without any options anymore. I feel hopeful now. Hopeful that I could gain some quality of life back. Hopeful that any new and updated research will be at the forefront of her mind. I'm grateful to be heard and I'm grateful to have gotten connected to this doctor who never wants to stop learning and helping. Thank you, Dr. Chehrenama, for breaking the mold of stereotypical neurologists. Thank you for working so tirelessly to be accessible, informed, and compassionate. That's not something I've experienced in the medical world in the 7 years I've been suffering.
