“Awesome park with lights for tennis and basketball courts. Huge green field with a back stop. Playground is modern and picnic area is pretty big. Not a lot of parking but great neighborhood park. My sons enjoyed their time there.”

“Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!! Amongst the hustle and bustle of the greater DC area, you have Turkey Run Park. Enjoy a nice scenic run through here. When I was on a run it wasn't that bad but there is possibly a chance for it to be congested. Only bad thing was that some people were very rude and would get in your way.”

“Great park and planned for kids with disabilities and not disabled alike. Autistics might flourish. My daughter loves it. We travel from Germantown, Md and there's plenty of comparable parks closer. It's just a nice change up pace. The property seems clean and well maintained each visit.”

“The pond and flora are very pretty. But because the trail around the pond is only a half mile, you have to walk around it several times to get any kind of a workout. The view from the dam is best. Half of the trail is paved and the other half is a natural surface. The side trail that connects to the Cross County Trail is unmarked and very rugged. It's a 10 minute walk from Brookfield Pond to the portion of the Cross County trail north of the Bryon Avenue park, but be advised that the terrain is difficult to navigate and likely to be muddy.”

“My grandparents lived at Wickford Park. But my dad family are live in Georgia from long time ago he's family got a tree fell down on roof. Then he's family went to the hotel and he's parent's want to brought a new home. I love it to see my grandparents lived in Wickford Park.”

“Love it here. Love that it's conveniently located right off the freeway. A nice piece of heaven in the middle of the cities chaos. There are several trails that are easy to navigate with a range of different terrain. The waterfall and swimming hole are beautiful. A great place to have lunch or read a book, I'll definitely be back.”

“Formerly Lamond Park, this hidden 18 acre park is co-maintained by Fairfax County and the Villamay homeowners' association. There is limited street parking available on the residential streets bordering the park. The park contains a playground, hiking trails, picnic tables, creek fishing, and a dilapidated, somewhat dangerous mansion and grounds that had been formerly rented out for parties. It's a great place to walk dogs, take a short hike, or just sit and watch nature.”

“Lots to do. A little more shade would be nice but we went on a super hot day. I think this would be an awesome spring / fall park.”
