“Lovely park to take a nice long peaceful walk at. My mom and I use to walk around the whole lake for our daily exercise. This park is one of few where you can go out for a walk worry free and not feel like someone’s following you, it doesn’t have that “dangerous feeling” to it. It’s very open and theirs always people walking, running or riding their bikes.”

“If you are in the area, stop by and check out the native pollinator garden. Many native plants and insects can be seen. Many birds can be seen and heard from here as well. Listen for the Meadow larks.”

“Great addition to the trail infrastructure. This Trail allows you to safely travel from Burke Road East of the suicide curve up to Burke Lake Road through a beautiful wooded area. The bath as well paved and very enjoyable to walk or ride a bike on.”

“Lake Fairfax has a lot to offer. For this area, it's one of the best parks that you can go to. Lake Fairfax is close to home for me. I love going there and taking walks. To my knowledge, it also has some of the best mountain bike trails in the area. I'm familiar with the paths now, but I remember when I first started visiting how I could get lost. In like it's a huge risk considering that it is an oasis inside of a major metropolitan area, but it's kind of neat to find a spot large enough to get turned around if you're not paying attention. As for tent camping, I don't think that you will find anything more luxurious than this. I'd say that about a third of the campsites have electrical outlets. As far as the bathrooms go, I haven't been in a campsite that has better. Each door you open on the facility has one toilet, one sink, a shower and a three-seater bench to sit down on. There is plenty of space inside of each one. If I remember correctly, there are six bathrooms, each about 12 x 12 ft. I definitely recommend visiting if you enjoy the outdoors.”

“Absolutely love this place! I believe it cost $10 to get in the park. Well worth it though. They have 3 different spots to see the waterfalls that are super easy to get to. One is even wheelchair friendly! I hope the people who were out there on the water get the chance to see these pictures! I was fun watching them.”

“I am writing this note on behalf of my sister, Eveline, and entire Li family to express our appreciation for the memorial service provided for my mother on July 5, 2018. It was a peaceful and respectful service. Many thanks to the personnel at the funeral home and the cemetery on that day who assisted in any way. A special recognition to Adam as his efficient, empathetic, and professional help through the whole process was greatly appreciated.”

“Great park for kids, but not super toddler friendly. Loved the trails- shaded but with some open areas.”

“I visited the pavilion for the first time today for a party. There is ample parking and several handicap spots. I used one of them and became concerned about how far the spot was from parking. Turns out it was close just up a hill. There is a service road that you could drive up and let wheelchairs out if you wanted and same for offloading all your picnic and party supplies. Grills were in good shape and large. Plenty of space to layout ribs and still have room for hotdogs and burgers. Water fountains are right there and were working. So we're the restroom.s, but I didn't need to use. The pavilion is surrounded by trees to keep you cool and there is a flat field next to it to expand your play area. Basketball court was on the other side of the field, so you could keep an eye on your kids from the field, but not the pavilion. Beautiful place.”
