“Our Daugther joined The Nest Academy when she turned 3 years old. I remember it was so hard for us to find the right school to send our daughter at that age...bur thanks for Mr. Sam and whole Nest Academy team they made us feel like she is still with her family who care, help our daughter to grow and they have excellent curriculum! Before kindergarten the kids know how to add, subtracting, READIND!!! And more. Most of all your kids knows manner, respect and care for each other. Nest Academy has the BEST management and teachers of all. Trust me they are one of a kind. I have no word to appreciate what they have done for my little one....”

“After 8 years at Oakwood, my son recently started 9th grade at an area college prep school. Although I already thought the world of Oakwood, I was thrilled and amazed to see how well prepared he was for high school. I am now able to "norm" his skill level against "typically developing" students, and am so grateful to realize his abilities are certainly on par with, and in many areas beyond, those of his peers. Oakwood is an excellent educational experience for any student. We initially went to Oakwood to protect my son's self-image and grow his confidence as he learned to cope with his learning differences, and we ended up with a strong learner well-equipped to handle the demands of a college prep curriculum.”

“If you can just focus on your child's experience in the classroom, you will be happy here. Great teachers. Great administrators. This place would be great if they could just figure out everything that goes on OUTSIDE of the classrooms. Billing, lunches, facilities, front office staff, after school programs, field trips, classroom furniture and materials, security, book ordering--all a mess. They have lost two Heads of Schools when all they really need to lose in order to be productive and successful is their Head of Operations. She and her team are rude and unorganized. She often makes promises about facility updates that never end up happening. She has had no experience working in a school before this, so it should come as no surprise that she isn't capable of dealing with school-related issues. Although, school leadership experience clearly isn't important to BASIS, as the CEO is a former electrical engineer who knows absolutely nothing about education or working in schools. He only got the job because his aunt and uncle founded and own the company. If you've ever had the pleasure of hearing him speak, you'd quickly lose even more respect for the guy and the schools he is attempting to run. Despite the CEO and the Head of Operations both having no prior education-related work experiences, they are often the last resort for answers to questions..that they can't answer. So, if you care about all of that, this isn't the place for you. If you care about your child having great teachers and learning at a high level, come here. Hopefully the teachers and administrators don't get fed-up with all of the above and leave, because they're all that's keeping families.”

“My daughter and son both go to the palm tree school and what an amazing school it truly is. The teachers, staff and main office Focus so much on the children to ensure they become the best leaders with the best of manners as well as teaching them the sweetens of Islam. A school that I am very proud to have my own kids in. From the summer school program to the full time school and even the after school program have transformed my children to well manner and joyful kids to have. Mashallah!”

“I graduated in 1979, I assure all of you, back then, the staff were very professional, never any trouble except every now and then some students were caught smoking pot, suspended and almost didn't graduate. The students cared about each other and the reputation of our school. The only thing that ever happened to me, I was a freshman on the first day of school, a senior sent me to the other side of the school to find my class which was back close to where I was to start with, no big deal, just late. That was the only thing most got in trouble for, late to class. Everyone there make the school what it is, including the parents. If you don't like a dirty bathroom, change it, if someone is rude they should be reprimand not just allowed to disrespect others. Grow up and take responsibility. Your school experience and after you graduate into the real world, it will not be "all about you"”

“I went here for my eighth grade school year. Great teachers, administration and staff. They were very helpful when I was bullied by a fellow student and put an end to the problem as soon as it was reported. Food is cafeteria food. Eh, what can you expect? Student body is diverse, and most students are kind. There are a select few who are absolutely horrible, as with every school, and avoiding them is the easiest. Other than that, great school.”

“I had my infant enrolled here and would recommend this preschool to anyone looking. The infant staff was caring and efficient. They always were quick to address my concerns, if I had any. The parents, kids, and staff all had a more family centric relationship that you do not find at large day care centers. My son very much came out of his shell while he was here. I would recommend this center to anyone looking in the area of Ft Belvoir.”

“Not many parents can rely on the school to reinforce issues that are happening at home. The principal is caring and works with us on discipline even matters that happen at home. The school is second to none with academics. I am pleased that both my children have started their educational careers with Grace.”

“Our son has attended Westgate for two years and thoroughly enjoys it. The teachers (most have been teaching here for many, many years) really care about the children. It's an engaging and warm environment.”

“South County is a great place because the teachers really care about learning and education. They help if there is anything wrong. One complaint is in the hallways when you're switching classes, the students always push other fellow students to make it to their classrooms on time. But overall, SoCo is a great place to go!”

“I have just left Washington Mill ES due to the fact that I just graduated (2018) but I can say that when I moved here and started at this school in 4th grade I always felt at home and accepted; I will forever miss the teachers (Mr.Smith we love you, Ms'Hawkins a dedicated teacher and goofball at heart, And many more Office ppl, art, gym) and I'll miss the building in general, so many memories. On the last day of school at the end of the day all you could hear were the sounds of over 90 kids crying but we did the same ting the day before when Mr. Smith one of the music teachers gave all of the rising 6th graders a speech that touched all of our hearts. To everyone I will miss you and to all of you out there (I'm sorry for the long comment) but I highly recommend this school, I 99.99% promise that your child or (children) are in safe and loving hands, if you don't trust me on that well just keep in mind that I was in Band, Chorus, A.A.P (advanced academics program, one of the captains of the safety patrol program they have, A.C.C (all county chorus)(look it up), and just a loving student -Liv (I'll never forget you guys) (don't forget me!)”
