“Truly a Five Star dining (lunch) experience, both food and service. We went there after church, we had different items, & we all left there full, satisfied, and happy. I had, and recommend, the Knockwurst with chili, mustard, relish, & sauerkraut, with fries. Our waitress, 'Jackie', was nothing short of outstanding. She was prompt in coming to our table and she always came by at the right times, not too much & not too little. She was genuinely pleasant/friendly, efficient, helpful, & she was intelligent/fast on the uptake. We made a 'fun' game of asking everyone the 'hotdog questions' printed on the tables, and then Jackie brought us the answer sheet. A good time had by all.”

One thing I didn't care for is the many thuggish type customers. I didn't feel comfortable. I felt like at any moment I was going to be in the middle of a robbery. But I wasn't 😜😊”

“It's a fun little older hotel to stay at. The pool is amazing and the hot tub was awesome! The hardware was old and the bathroom and beds are a bit rough but overall it is an incredibly great little hotel for the price! If you're on a budget, this hotel will not disappoint and the view of the ocean is just fantastic. Staff were nice too! They let us check in 3 hours early. Really enjoyed the 10-day stay and highly recommend the Schooner for budget-conscious travelers.”

While I was there, I even saw them fit in someone that needed a tire plug on short notice into their schedule. They let her know how long it would take and got to work. Another thing was wonderful was that the food was still hot even when I ordered. Sometimes food elsewhere is cold but this was still steamy. “An awesome tour, chandelier started shaking and no one was moving that made the hair rise on our arms. With 11 known spirits and 1 cat it's possible to have an encounter. Most of the house felt relatively normal but the upstairs bedroom to the left there wasn't a good vibe coming from that room. I'd say definitely worth the tour and if you get an opportunity to stay the night, it'd be once in a lifetime.”

“Went into the shop at 9:45 a.m. last Monday for a last minute break check before a road trip to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. The guys were able to see my car 15 or 20 minutes after I got there. They checked my tires and brakes and replaced my front brakes and rotors for a fair price. Service was done by 2 p.m. and I was able to pick it up on a work break. Very pleased with the service.”

“The front desk was efficient and had everything ready for me to fill out. I wish I didn’t have to complete the exact same thing for both of my kids. Carolina was amazing working up both kids. She took her time with them, making sure they were comfortable during the work up and made sure all of our questions were answered. My kids felt very comfortable with her and didn’t have a hard time when it came time to get drops. We didn’t have to wait long for Dr. Steinbeisser to come in to do the exam. She was amazing with my kids. She went into great detail during the exam and made sure my kids understood everything she was doing and why. She asked them several times during the visit if we had any questions. My daughter had an updated prescription so we did stop by the optical on site. Charisse was friendly, but with another patient at the time. My teenage daughter took a quick look, but didn’t see anything she liked so we took the prescription with us. Overall great experience from check in to check out. Looking forward to their annual visit next year with Carolina and Dr. Steinbeisser.”
