Matt spent a significant amount of time explaining different types of roof wood, flow of air through the attic, moisture, shingle types, etc. He thoroughly inspected every detail of the roof as well. There is no question that Matt has master level experience and knowledge. It is clear that he has been a roofer for a very long time, and also local to the NOVA area for all his experience. After meeting with Matt materials were dropped off next business day and the roof went on the day after that. His whole crew was excellent and they finished the entire house in one day with ease. The entire time the roof was being replaced Matt was sending me pictures and updates. He was easy to reach as he immediately responded to call, text, email, etc. the whole time. “I am extremely happy with my new roof. Excellent workmanship and great detail to complete the job in the most organized way. They stared the job in July and they worked on the house roofing and replaced due to hail damage. The worker arrived early in the morning and made sure to cover the ground to protect landscaping, I must say they had a supervisor on site and once they finished with the roofing they continued to the shed that also needed to be replaced. Once they finished with the roofing they send their second crew to replace a portion of the siding that had been damage by the hail and was installed with no issues whatsoever. I am really impressed with the quality of workmanship and customer service. I highly recommend them for they professionalisms and their resources to take care of roofing and siding needs. My house is the biggest investment of my life and they helped me in maintaining my house value and that’s quality respectful business. After having had a bad experience with the contractor my insurance company recommended, I reached out to Shaq. He answered my call and came and inspected my property the same day. He walked me through the claims process and explained the damages he saw and what needed to be done. He was thorough and professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. He followed up with me again the next day and was responsive to all of my questions prior to scheduling repairs. This is my first time having to go through something like this and he made the entire process very smooth for me. Out of a large handful of contractors I have been in contact with over the past several weeks, Shaq was the most courteous, professional and responsive of any of them. “This place is amazing. Market street has a family feel and treat patients like family. I came here after being stationed here in Virginia and moved to Suffolk. The front desk clerks are super nice and always do all they can to get the children in as soon as possible. Dr. Benardo is awesome. She enjoys children and is willing to see them whenever you call. The only down side is when you call for appointments, the call may get sent to the commerical lane location. The commerical lane location have rude clerks (and Im from NY). So that says a lot when I say they are rude. Its more of a business transaction, than a friendly helping environment. We have to leave this area after 4 years here, but we will miss Market Street and Dr. Bernado. They treated us with great health care for our daugther that was born premature and now in Preschool doing well. Great place. This team is amazing. Gail, Marveda and Dr. Benardo. Thank you all.”

“That last wind storm did a number to my property, especially my roof. Several of my cedar shake shingles ended up on my front lawn. That was easy to clean but left my roof looking quite bad. Fortunately I was able to find Sterling Exteriors online and gave them a call. They were able to schedule a consultation the same week and within a month or month and a half I was able to get a whole new roof approved my insurance company. I have never had to file a claim before but they assured me they would help me throughout the process including meeting with the adjuster. Sure enough I was approved and Sterling got my roof redone completely brand new with architectural shingles which last a lot longer so I don’t have to worry about it anymore!”

“Brown Brothers roofing just finished up a big two week job subcontracted to redo the roof on our 1900 farm house in Surry. The guys that came out were great to have on site. Always Professional and considerate. Despite the size and length of time of the project they were careful to clean up everything at the end of each day and not leave a lot of loose debris. They all even took time out to entertain our 3 year old who loved saying hi and talking to them when they were out here. 10/10 would recommend and use them in the future.”

I called about a small leak in my roof (we noticed some we cardboard boxes in our eves) The rep came out, spent an hour and a half looking over the roof, climbed on top, checked over everything and came back to me with his recommendations, "You had one (1) nail up. I hammered it down, added some caulk, checked over the rest of the roof, and did a couple of quick fixes. You should be all set. Call me in 5 years when you need a new roof." I was out of work at the time (covid). Talk about a weight off my shoulders. I am not looking forward to purchasing a new roof when necessary (no one looks forward to that). But I know exactly who I will call when I need one. The Roofing Company, through their outstanding customer service, has earned my business and my recommendation.
