“The trails are beautifully done. Easy to walk paths through fields, forest, and around ponds. So many different plants that look different every time I go. Many benches that invite you to stop and enjoy the view. I highly recommend you go every season to see the wonderful changes in the gardens and paths.”

“Lots of people on a nice day. Nice lake to cool off in. Plenty of beautiful body's and bikinis with nothing covering the rear. Parking is a mess on a nice day. Just not enough. No speed boats and family friendly.”

“GREAT COURSE! Wish Colorado had an amazing course like this. Didn't waste time trying to find disks or tee boxes. Friendly people. I don't have any complaints other than the short time I have to play the course.”

“Nice views. It's a pocket park. Not slot of land. Stairs down to the shore are steep. The beach mostly disappears at high tide.”

“I would rate this 5 stars however some of the people that frequent this particular spot have urinated so much just by the parking area that that's all you smell on hot days. SMH. As well this place is equipped with a trash can emptied as far as I can tell, almost everyday or everyday. Yet people still insist on tossing garbage anywhere they want as well as cigarettes butts. The hiking trails are amazing lots of different trails to follow and the view of the water is excellent”

“Small but beautiful little park. Amazing view of Seattle from here. There is a little bit of grass to have a ground picnic or there are 6 concrete round picnic tables with 4 concrete benches. Each table had a very nice cloth umbrella to shade it. The tide was out so there was a little sand, I’d definitely recommend some kind of water shoes though since there are broken shells and crabs all over. Perfect little park for a romantic picnic lunch!”

“First time here but it was really enjoyable. Not too crowded and with the trails through the woods, it was a nice break from the usual open field of dirt with an insane number of dogs. We will be back.”

“A beautiful nature escape that makes you feel miles away from the hubbub as you listen to the creek and the wind blowing through the trees. It's a short in and out trail but worth it if you're in the area.”

“Love this place. Just like summer camp when I was a kid. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I'm here every year with a group of guys who are a bit "rough around the edges" and the camp staff is very understanding and accommodating.”

“Went here close to dusk in the rain, did not have much time to explore. In the time we had it was obvious that this is definitely worth a second look. We did not find the real parking lot, so parked off to the side of a one lane road. Parking could be an issue on a nice day. A plus is that this park is just down the road from Manchester State Park, if you don't find what you want here it's only 5 minutes to an alternative.”

“Very well maintained trail system. Plenty of parking in a lot, rather than having to park along a side street. At the trail head there are picnic tables. The area is a covered shelter for rainy days. It is important to note that there is not a restroom or honey buckets here. Make sure you've taken care of that need before coming out to the preserve. The trail floor is laid out with plenty of bark, making the ground soft and helps to deter from mud puddles. There are many interconnected loops so you can decide how long you'd like to walk. In addition, trail markers are in red and posted at Y and T sections. You can enjoy gentle uphill slopes and meandering through the old growth trees. This nature preserve is quite a gem. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday mid morning. I spent 2 hours, did a larger loop for a 3 mile walk.”

“Probably the best place to hike near Silverdale, Bremerton, or Port Orchard. A person feels like they are in a state park. Great signage and tons of trails to see! Update: trail logged in 2020, not very nice now. Board overseeing park says in statement that it will be decades before users see improvement from destruction. For video see YouTube channel "Explore Your World Today".”
