“Nice trails for a short walk or can make it longer on a different trail. Lots of places to fish, but bring your own chair. Nice maps of trails posted. 3 different parking lots. One near the partment buildings, one in the middle and the boat launch. Open space near the boat launch to play Frisbee or catch. Several people had caught fish. Handicapped parking everywhere but the boat launch. Part of the path is a floating sidewalk on top of the lake. There is a disc golf course across the street from the lake. So good to see people out and about and everyone we ran into was quite friendly.”

“The grass is well cared for at this park and the kids love the playground! It was a perfect place for a picnic. I did however hear that the sink was not working in the women's restroom. Bring hand sanitizer!”

“Great local swimming hole right over the state line into Washington. It's easy to find unlike a lot of other swimming holes we've visited, has a parking lot, bathrooms, bike rack, ramp, and beautiful clear water. On the to be prepared for side, the ground is really rocky and there's no shade. Next time I would definitely bring a zero gravity chair and an umbrella to be super comfy! There were kids of all ages and adults and everyone was having a good time while staying distanced. A group of teenagers was jumping from a platform into a deep spot. My girls were screaming and trying to skip rocks. Some tubers floated past us. And a family down the beach was playing music to give us some background music. The viewing platform right off the parking lot has picnic benches and a great view of the river. I don't know if this is a regular thing, but when we got there at around 5:30, the ice cream truck was just pulling through! I'm not sure when we'll be back since it was quite a haul, but I would definitely return and highly recommend for anyone nearby. It seemed about 5 to 10 degrees warmer than where we are in Portland, and a lot of folks were just showing up as we were leaving around 7: 00pm. It looked like evening might be the time to go!”

“What a great place to take your dog! Everyone is friendly and Taz, the owner, has years of experience working with dogs and can hand any situation. In addition, all the dogs are required to have proof of up to date shot records. It's nice to feel safe taking my dog there.”

“This is an absolutely beautiful sprinkler, it is every bit as functional as it is artful. You can see the pride in the workmanship of this sprinkler. Worth every penny! I am new to gardening and lawn care and having this as a centrepiece really motivates you to make your lawn / garden half as beautiful this sprinkler. I 100% recommend this product and Hoppy’s is amazing with either communication. Things were packaged well and the instructions were very easy to follow. I don’t normally review products but I’m so happy with this product and my overall experience with Hoppy’s that I needed to say something. Be the talk of your neighbourhood and add one of these amazing sprinklers to your yard too!”

“Fun park with basketball sport court. Has a path around the park for stretching your legs. Seems to have a trail back in the trees that would be fun to explore. My 8 year old wished there were a few more things to play on (I thought there was plenty).”

“Cute little pocket park. Great for the little ones. 4 square, basketball court, 2 tables and a couple nice pieces of equipment for the kids to play on.”

“It's a great park with plenty of room for the dogs to play and tables for people to sit at. There's a water station. The fence is shorter than most dog parks so just make sure your dog is not a jumper. There are no lights at all though, so I wouldn't suggest going at night. The only lights are across the way at the school but that doesn't light up the dog park at all.”

“This site of a defense station that was planned to have anti-naval vessal guns to protect the area against possible invasion in World War 2 have been converted into a beautiful state park. The water access is perfect for kayaking, the trails are great for going on a walk, with or without your dogs; and if you want to go camping this park provides you with places to do so. To enter you will need a Discover Pass or pay for a day pass to the park, camping also has a fee. The visitor station also sells water or ice creams if you didn't come prepared for when the park gets hot during the summer.”

“A scenic roadway enjoyed on foot, bike or car. Perhaps the only place in Seattle where you can travel for miles without a stoplight or the hustle bustle of a busy freeway. All this thanks to the nationally famous Ohlmsted park design team and some bold visionary planners in Seattle a century ago.”

“Meandering paved trails, trees enough to be a forest, just a completely nestled little gift you don't expect that fills the mind and lungs with refreshing. I adore this little park. There is a front area with paved trails, and a back area with sticks to play with and some small bike jumps. It goes from the street right up to I-5. Perfect for a short shot to the trees with your littles, or a morning talk with God. "Friendly" is the name of the feeling. Just a lovely place. It's not highly maintained, so there is some litter here and there, but it disappears - and I've never seen drug paraphernalia. That is normal to run into, closer to Seattle. But it is maintained - just enough to be clean and intentional, but it is left alone enough to feel like a homey place, not manicured. To me, it's perfect.”
