We found everything we needed in the house to make us feel welcome. We explored the town of Port Gamble and especially enjoyed the General Store, which was built in 1916. The Hood Canal Bridge is about five minutes from the guest houses and provides access to the Olympic Peninsula where you'll find hiking, fishing, boating, mountain climbing, the Hoh Rain Forest and, ultimately, the Pacific Ocean and the Salish Sea. The Olympic Mountains, strong and bold, can be seen from the bridge, inviting you to explore the area. Our trip refreshed us, filling us with clean air, beautiful pictures, and wonderful memories.”
