  Palomino is a Bay View staple with consistently good food, pleasant service, and a nice, casual atmosphere. It had been a while since I had eaten here, and it seems they have redone the menu. Plenty of good-looking options were available, and there is an extensive drink list. If you’re looking for a casual, reasonably priced place for dinner in Bay View, Palomino is a good choice.
  
  I opted for the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich (double) and my friend went with the Shrimp Po’boy. We both enjoyed our meals, and the portions were quite large. A copious amount of fresh French fries made half the sandwich enough for me (yay leftovers). The sauce on the fried chicken was excellent; spicy but not overwhelming. The chicken was cooked well, and the breading was nice, not soggy. The house made pickles were a nice touch. Palomino has plenty of craft beers on tap to choose from, which I appreciated.
  
  I look forward to returning to Palomino sooner rather than later. It looks like they still have the Chicken & Waffle on their brunch menu, which was my favorite in the past, so maybe next time it will be for brunch and one of their delicious Bloody Marys.

  Great atmosphere great food! All at reasonable prices. They always have a drink and a shot special for 6 dollars always a good option!

  Neighborhood staple. Get the fried chicken dinner, you will have lunch the next day (or a late night snack). Interesting drink menu with a billion different whiskeys to try. Staff is really sweet. I can't wait to try their brunch sometime!

  An overall lovely experience! Great food, can taste and see the quality. Friendly staff. A little pricy but very expected and warranted for the dishes.

  Great place. High comfort level. Welcoming , knowledgeable staff. Small menu, but, well thought out. Food was awesome. Will definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu. Best Bourbon/ Whiskey selection in Bay View.
