“Very clean, well kept park, like all the rest of the parks here with the exception of the newest and nicest one. I can't get over how many parks are here in Sun Prairie. Sad thing, I rarely see anyone there.”

“This is definitely a really nice walk! Starting from the Wisconsin Side, .75 of a Mile, walking down onto the Old Stillwater Bridge and into downtown Stillwater, St Croix River can easily be seen! And then it’s a .75 mile back up which is a little hill up for sure back up to the parking lot on the Wisconsin side! I think you “technically” may have to pay to park, but just fine somewhere off a ways to park and you’ll be fine.”

“This is one of my favorite dog parks to go to mostly because if it’s convenient location. The area is spacious and very visually appealing with lots of tall prairie grass surrounded by big trees. There is about a half mile walking loop which can be nice when you want to walk slowly and talk with friends. There is also a shade shelter with a number of picnic tables underneath it. Heads up to those with mobility aids: this park has the main area located a short walk away from the entrance and if you are not able to walk travel the quarter-mile over rough lime stone screenings, you may find this park difficult to enjoy.”

“Combination area of a hunting area, historical site, hiking trails, and county parks. It’s a nice variety of Prairie and wooded area with a lot to offer for the outdoors type. The abandoned homestead is an interesting point to visit, and there is a bit of history to read on public placards. Limited gravel parking, paved parking in the county park.”

“Excellent park for my 2,5, and 7 yr old. High quality play equipment that definitely shows in it's ability not to become molten lava hot in the sun. Definitely worth stopping and letting them play 👍”

“Klode is a great little park. There's a decent sized playground, A couple of tennis courts, lots of green space, and a path down to the beach. It's a stoney beach, but a great place to swim. It's usually pretty quiet.”

“Beautiful park nestled between Brown Deer, Glendale and Milwaukee. Lots of open space, great for playing fetch with your dog, throwing a frisbee or flying a kite. There are even some trails to hike on through the woods offering up some stunning views. Add in the frisbee golf course and traditional golf course and you’ve got a great park. As of writing, they are completely replacing most of the roadways in the park but there are still places to park your vehicle. I come here frequently with my dog who loves it! She and I highly recommend it!”

“I stayed at Blackhawk RV Camping Resort as part of a Thousand Trails about a week ago. I could not be more impressed! From the day of my arrival, I was made to feel welcome from super friendly staff and seasonals (shout-out to Brad, Brian, Ben and Steve, also to a woman with short blonde hair and a pink golf cart, who was also very helpful- sorry I didn't get your name). Anyway, the campground is HUGE and very well-kept. There is plenty of space between campers- from anyone in tents to living in one of their cabins. I was in my own Class-A. I had full hook-ups (20-50amp available at the pole) with no issues with electric and good water pressure. They had beautiful landscaping with lots of grass and trees throughout. If I had the grandkids, they would have enjoyed themselves with the myriad of children's activities they offered as well as a basketball court, volleyball, horseshoes, swimming pool etc. They also had 3 adjacent lakes, but I could only figure-out how to get to 2 of them. Onsite, I also found a store with basic amenities (+ ice & fire wood) as well as a 24-hour laundry room. You can also rent a golf cart, which I recommend for at least a couple of days. I highly recommend this campground!”

“This is a historic marker for an early one room school house. If you're fond of scenic drives that stretch of Hwy 19 is pretty. And if you happen to play Pokemon Go, there is a gym and stop.”
