“I visited Aztalan, for the very first time, on the first day of this new year. It was very chilly. What a fascinating place, with posters sharing valuable information about the mounds, the tools the Aztalan peoples used, their lifestyle, history, etc. You can circle all the way around the park to learn about the Aztalan peoples and see the Crawfish River, while you're at it. The wooden poles form a fence almost all the way around - showing you the premises in which the Aztalan peoples lived inside. There are wooden poles sectioning off into squares that look like they might've been storehouses/housing at some point. I think that the walls were covered in clay, at one point. It's interesting because the space is so quiet and peaceful. Suddenly, one day, the Aztalan civilization disappeared. It's said that, perhaps, they moved to Cahokia. There's no actual answer. Therefore, this place is quite mysterious. It's a fantastic place to visit for seeking clarity. The air is so pure and the atmosphere is so simple and plain.”

“The sign at the entrance says "No Dogs" but I saw at least 4 people with dogs - WHICH IS FINE (in my opinion) because the park was empty and all 4 dogs were well-behaved; also the people picked up after their dogs. I love this park because it's a nice clean lot with soccer fields, tennis courts, softball fields, a playground, a small lake for some nature-induced contemplation, ample trees and benches, and both trash and recycle bins. I enjoyed a nice walk around the perimeter of this park and noticed hardly any litter, dog poop, or mosquitos.”

“Outstanding place to host a party or get together! You must be a Brookfield resident to rent this space, but other than that stipulation, it's amazing! Always very clean when we enter, it's got great bathrooms for guests and a decent kitchen with a big fridge and sink. No other kitchen amenities though so don't plan to cook here unless it's an outdoor barbecue or something.”

“Very community focused park. Could use more programming and activities. One of the only parks that has a meal program in the summer that not only serves meals twice a day, but also serves adults. For those that have concerns about safety and the children not being controlled they invite you all to come out to a meeting to voice your opinion/give suggestions. “This dog park is great and really accessible for anyone living east of the freeway. There are two downsides, the park system takes our money for upkeep and maintenance but doesn't wood chip Roverwest like they do Estabrook so it gets extremely muddy and there is no small dog section. I'd give five stars if these were changed but I dont have faith they will be since Roverwest isn't in as desirable a location as Estabrook.”

“Pretty setting. You could watch the view from the overlook or take the stairs down to the beach. The way is also wheelchair accessible. Perfect for a walk or a jog. Parking on lake drive can be an issue since the place can get busy, however one of the inner streets are usually free.”

“Really happy with this park! We travel sometimes for hours to find different parks. Its great family time! This playground has stuff for all ages. From mini slides to tornado slides (thats what my kids call them). Clean sand outlines everything. My 2 yr old loves burying his brother. There is also a ball diamond and a pavilion with a bunch of picnic tables. Great job Clinton, WI. And thank you!”
