“Beautiful historic park just east and up the hill from Lake Michigan and Lincoln Memorial Drive. One thing I realized the last time I was there that it’s a great place to park for free if you plan on heading down to the lakefront, as long as you don’t mind taking the paved, gradual trail down through the woods.”

“I love the atmosphere and the size of this park. There's a huge area with woods and all for bigger dogs to run and walk off leash. There's also two smaller areas for small dogs and older dogs to run as well. It is a wonderful place which attracts a very kind helpful crowd and the amenities are great too. Super helpful and super great place to take any dog that has an abundance of energy and needs a place to let off steam as well as being absolutely beautiful for their humans as well.”

“Just went on the 2019 Fright Hike! It was a ton of fun BUT it could have been so much better if they extend the time it ran quite a bit. They have 2,000 people come through in just over 2 hours so there are major back ups on the trail. Because of this, the actors can easily be seen jumping out at someone up ahead so you already know where they are. They also don't have time to hide or set up their scene again so there's just a bunch of people walking around. They should extend it from 6-8:30 to 6-10 instead, to allow for much smaller groups, lessening the huge back ups thus making it a more fun/scary experience.”

“Great little neighborhood park, although the equipment is showing a bit of age with chipped paint a little rust and dirt. Quite a few local kids of various ages playing on a Sunday morning.”

“I was there for a high school softball game and the field was in great shape. There is a nice covered shelter with picnic tables to get out of the rain. Parking was ample for the event that I attended. Access is very easy off of Calhoun Drive. There is also plenty of bleachers for spectators to sit on.”

“A hidden gem. I brought my son and my dog here the other day and this park is small but clean and pretty. I saw a deer walk across the field right when I arrived. It looks like there are some walking trails too though we only enjoyed the grassy open area and the playground. I would love to come here again.”

“I've been to this park twice. It's a nice cozy park for family gatherings. The pavilion is GREAT! It has everything you need to have a large house party. A full kitchen and indoor bathrooms. I love that you are able to see the play ground from every angle of the park. The best part is it's easy to get to from the highway. Wonderful neighborhood too.”

“Not just a boring Botanic Garden, but three different beautifully curated, interactive, fun and themed domes/gardens! My favorite is definitely the show garden, which was decorated with the Christmas theme that is absolutely magical. Who would expect to find a sleigh or organ in the midst of a Botanical Garden!? It feels like I've walked through the wardrobe and entered Narnia! There are activity sheets for you to pick out interesting or peculiar things in the gardens, which I thought was an absolute great idea, not only interesting and interactive for children but highly educational for adults too! Easily the best Botanic Garden I've been to!”
