“I grew up swimming here and when it was still open with life guard's. They closed it done when the lake was contaminated with E.Coli. It got contaminated by the Hawthorne Melody milk factory that once sat across the creek from Trippe Lake. I believe it had something to do with the old pipes from the old factory which was either running into the ground under the Lake or just in the lake I can't remember for sure. Anyways from what I know today is that it is safe to swim in Trippe Lake now and that they never did reopen the Lifeguard/Food Building which did have 2 Bathrooms with Showers and locker room. I take my kids here from time to time and share my stories of the town I grew-up in and the Lake I swam at with my friends and family. Also tell them there use to be a metal slide in the water and raft that was in the middle of the lake. I recommend this area for all families old and Future ones to come visit Trippe Lake, and make new memories also to share yours with everyone you love in life.”

“We love this dog park! We stop by every time we come down to visit family. Our two huskies LOVE the huge park - and so do we! There is are a couple paths that you can walk on, but otherwise you just walk in the grass, which is no biggie. Wish we lived closer to visit here more.”

“It was my first time there with my 2 grandchildren and their mom and dad visiting from N C. When I was there for the fireworks, I never knew that there was a new playground built in Malone Park. There are all sorts of playground equipment there for all ages of kids and baby swings with a swing for the mom or dad to enjoy swinging their son or daughter. This playground is also for kids with disabilities my son was telling me. It's also a nice place to go with families and friends on a day when it is not real hot and humid outside. There are also picnic tables and park benches inside the playground area for anyone to sit on to watch their children play with other kids.”

“Beautiful place with so much variety! I'm extremely impressed. The prices are fair. You want beautiful, healthy plants? Well, you'll have to pay a good price for them! They are well worth it.”

“Kristen and Jaclyn at Arlington Park Cemetery (Dignity Memorial) were most helpful, kind, and understanding. My wife and I had searched intermittently over a period of years to find the unmarked grave of a family member who died in 1944. Jaclyn made a commitment to help and she and Kristen followed through. Their efforts were successful. Kristen and Jaclyn provided the closure that we had sought for many years. My wife and I are most grateful.”

“Pondview Park is unusual in that it is very small, well hidden and does not provide the usual features found in county parks. There are no tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields or children's play area. What it does offer is a quiet place to sit or stroll around the small pond. The entire trail is 2035 ft (620 m) or .38 miles (.62 km.). It is perfect for couples to just "be together".”

“Love this place! I used to live on Packard Avenue in the Town homes it sit behinds. It's always been a friendly community with awesome Fire, Police and Rescue worker's. It's a nice place especially to see years later, how the grounds gave been kept up, added folage and simply very neatly landscaped. Great place by the lake for any event!!”

“Not surprisingly, this is a rather wet place. While there are some higher lands near the north parking lot off of Hwy 18, I suggest visiting via the east parking lot off Bear Hole Road. Park and walk west towards the access road - look for the gate. This takes you over a drumlin to a meadow between two drumlins. Continue west up the the next drumlin for an overview of the Tamarack swamp. Next time I will bring waders...”

“Burnt Village is one of the first fishing memories, I remember having with my Dad and Uncle. To this day Burnt Village is still one of my Favorite Fishing spot's and geology site. There's a lot of history and memories tied to this spot a lot of us can relate. I recommend this spot to anyone who wants to share it and memories with their entire family.”

“Lovely park and area. Great for a temporary getaway from any major cities, but close enough to run to get anything you may have neglected to bring with. This park is lovely, with a nice sized playground for children. Whether you came just for a day in the shade or some fun under the sun, Ottawa Park is a wonderful place to go.”
