“Great morning hike and I even saw a Coyote which is super rare! It's the first time I've ever seen one in the area and I frequent this park. Take the long way if you really want to enjoy it. The gravel track around the lake is nice but the best views are through the whole park. Over the years the trail has become better marked and easier to follow. The only downside is the trail can get muddy in a few spots when conditions are wet and people don't pick up their dog poop a lot. Otherwise I love Grobschmidt!”

“Spring water flows year around out of a couple spigots. Just needs some ice cubes on the hottest days in summer. ;) If you bike/hike/run/drive Clover Valley Road, between Whitewater Lake/Whitewater State Kettle Moraine Park and Whitewater city, this is a natural, rustic, shaded break point rest stop, and a great place to refill water bottles. It is North of Anderson Road if coming off from Hwy 89. It is in an area surrounded by farms.”

“Great trails. Wisconsin trails behind Illinois when it comes to trail maintenance, however, especially taking care of their restrooms and that's if they have one at all. Something to be mindful of. Parking in many easy to get to locations. There is an app you can download from IAT website.”

“Hiked portions of the red loop, orange loop and the overlook. The overlook is over grown in the summer but the wide trails and tall pines more than make up for it. Bugs were not bad during the middle of the day. Great trails!!”
