Kudos! Also loved the gentleman who helped me at the deli counter. It was his first day behind the counter but he was all smiles and ready to help. He offered tastes of foods I was considering but never tried before. All in all a great experience except the rain. I was drenched but you were ready with the plastic umbrella holders, so good for me and everyone who followed me. I don't want to make anyone slip and fall--just as I don't want to fall. Good Idea!”

“Okay I probably should not be telling you this because y'all are going to go and buy them out and then I won't have any but they make the best biscuits and croissants and that bakery and sell them by the box oh my gosh. When you take one of the croissants and heat it up for 30 seconds and bite into it you don't even need to add butter because you can taste the butter in it. The biscuits are so out of this world that you don't even want to go to a fast food place anymore whoever is cooking in that bakery is worth a million bucks.”

“Always love coming to this Walmart. They have way more self-checkout stations than the one on Hamilton Church Rd. (Which is closer to me by the way!) The negatives are, they run outta stock a lot on certain things that take forever to be restocked. Other negatives are prices on items are often different when you get to the register. Then you'll have to go to Customer Service and wait in that long line to correct the issue. All and all, it's just a really nice, clean location.”

And we love finding and supporting old school local business that are still going. If you want to take your kids back in time to how local donut shops used to be, bring them here. Order some donuts and a chocolate milk then grab a table and "sit for spell" as they used to say. If the Bill the owner is there, as he is most mornings, he can share some great stories with you. Just look at the photos on the wall and you'll see this place is rich in history. Kind of like the "Cheers" of donut shops. The donut shop has been owned by the same family for over 50 years. It used to be a Shipley's Donut but they changed the name to Spring Donut Shop, still the same owners though.”
