“Update: years later, and I or my family comes here every time to pick up a bunch of lobster tails & cannolis for me. Legendary bakery. Been getting most of our Italian pastries from La Rosa's for decades, but I figured I should finally leave a review. Very good Italian bakery with stuff ranging from breads, to meat breads, to Italian pastries (especially cannolis and lobster tails/bear claws), to a really wide variety of cakes. They're a favorite amongst locals who need their fix of Italian desserts, but want to go above and beyond what you find at a supermarket. They take their work very seriously and make sure that every customer is satisfied- they even sat down at a table with us and worked out the details of my graduation cake! I have to add that their cakes (like my own cake) are fantastic- they are very reasonably priced compared to what you'd get for most custom-baked cakes in the area, and they offer unique fillings like cannoli cream. They take serious pride in their work and I really recommend them as someone who's lived in Central Jersey/eaten Italian desserts for his entire life. Oh, and their cannoli chips + cream are really really good. Great for taking to the beach if you have a cooler to put the cream in.”

“Always excellent donuts here. Went in really early this morning (3/20/22) and the owner was still stocking the main display case with jelly donuts. Took some time to pick out a variety. She was very patient with the little ones. We sat down and ate what we could. Eyes bigger than stomach we didn't finish but the owner was curious so asked to see how many we did eat. She laughed and proceeded to restuff our box with a few new items for us to try before sending us on our way. Love this place for sure and glad to be so close to them.”

My former physician was an OSU Medical School graduate and it was once a dream of mine to be as well. I think very highly of D.O.'s because they allow the patient to be involved with their healthcare. After losing my physician to his untimely death, I knew obtaining one particular medication would be troublesome. However, I never expected it to become a 7 month challenge! As I laid writhing in pain, my spouse reached out to Dr. Hayes. I had become unbearable to be around and I wasn't handling life very well... I had been receiving my medicine through the Abbvie Patient Assistance Program. A company who should understand their own warnings on their medications, continued to provide obstacle after obstacle for receiving my next 3 month supply of medication. I knew that I would encounter difficulties, so I initially began taking my meds every other day. As time went on, it was every 3rd day, until I had exhausted them all. The company didn't seem to care. My new physician, with a call in request, failed to send the prescription to the pharmacy so I could attempt to obtain it by other means. I needed help. Dr. Hayes recognized immediately that I was suffering from withdrawals. I had used the medicine for over 5 years straight. I was in a lot of pain and was no longer able to truly help myself. I am still recovering, but thanks to Dr. Hayes, I am almost back to my normal self again. Although Dr. Hayes' office has suffered during the Pandemic, like most other businesses, I appreciate that Dr. Hayes utilizes technology to continue treating patients. I enjoyed being able to complete all of my new patient paperwork online. It was so easy and is my preferred method of communication. I hate having actual documents to file. That was one thing I enjoyed doing most through my previous employer - filing documents electronically; everything from scanned images to emails. Overall, when Dr. Hayes is needed the most, he is there. I'm so thankful that God allowed Dr. Hayes to be a key player in my life. Very, very thankful for such a wonderful, intelligent, caring physician!!”

“I have to say that I had been to multiple cupcake places this day (just for fun), and some with better artistry and variety of cupcakes, but I was shocked and how superior the flavor and texture of Willow’s cupcakes was! Delicious! I didn’t like the cake pops (they were literally soggy inside, and the coating wasn’t hard. Texture-wise, I was super disappointed.). Other than that, all the treats we got were delicious, and I love that there were vegan options (I didn’t buy any, I just noted this for future use). Also, there were some gorgeous earrings and hot plates and such from a local artist! I honestly would come back to get gifts here, as the artwork was so gorgeous!”

“The mother-daughter duo at Birdie's Batch bake with heart. They put love and effort into every ounce of their creations. At the onset of 2020, my dad was alone in New York and in his 70s so unable to be with his family. I ordered delicious goodness from BB and the packet arrived beautifully packaged, not to mention absolutely scrumptious. It brought a smile to my dad's face. Now THAT is baking with love.
