“We originally were going to go to Paris Baguette for a birthday cake, but I remembered seeing great reviews for this bakery. I am so glad we decided to come here instead! They have a huge variety of pastries (as other review pictures show) in delicious flavors, good portions, and decent prices. The picture below shows just some of what they have, and every single one has been delicious so far. They gave us 2 complimentary pastries as well! The staff were also incredibly sweet and explained their cake flavors, sizes, and pricing. The cakes displayed out front are the "base" and are topped with fruit and decoration once you order. I didn't want to write a message on the cake but they insisted. Once we had a message, they made sure to confirm they had the correct spelling and accents. As for the cake's taste, this is by far the best cake I have had. It is incredibly soft and fluffy, almost like cotton, but not too sweet. The fresh strawberries and strawberry whip cream pair perfectly. Overall, this bakery is amazing. I will be back and highly recommend others support this local business!!!”

“A fine place to get some pretty standard donuts. Go early as they seem to sell out quickly if you want to try (mostly gone by 8:40 on a weekday). Some of the donuts came off as overly oily, but some were fine. The marshmallow cream filled one was interesting. For us, it ranks below Winchell's which has more generous hours and a fuller selection because of them, but if you're an early riser, this could be a good spot for you.”

“They took out the Village Inn (VI) near my house on Bell Road and 3rd Street and put in a Biscuits Cafe. Unfortunately, the Biscuits closes at 2:30 pm. I relied greatly on VI. I am at work all day and really enjoyed dinner at VI. So now, I am forced to drive across town to the nearest remaining VI, which is where I had dinner today. The same wonderful menu, pleasant staff and (coincidentally, today is free pie Wednesdey) a piece of free apple pie to take home!! I miss my VI and wish they would put it back near my house ... I quite prefer it to BC.”

They were absolutely right! Nancy Cates has the most amazing treats but even more amazing Lattes/coffee! My favorite is the Lavender Vanilla Latte! I’ve tried so many different lattes from different major cities around the world and theirs has them all beat by far!
