I tried the chicken (pollo con papas y chili) and the corn tamale (elote). I was surprised to find out my chicken tamale was also stuffed with potatoes and green chilies since they simply tell you it's a pollo tamale. That was such an awesome deal! They were 2/$5 and they were available pretty early in the morning, I think around 10 am. The masa (flour) was beautifully well-done. Soft and moist on the inside while maintaining a firm texture. Salted perfectly. Chicken had awesome flavor. Potatoes were firm and the way they were cooked matched the texture of the chicken and chilies delightfully. I haven't tried the other offerings at Continental but I would gladly go back. The ladies behind the counter were so very kind to the customers, too! I loved it and hope to return soon.”

I offer to buy a cake for my friends 13 year old son last minute and i called Robynn's bakery in the morning and same day In the afternoon they had me a tres leches chocolate cake with strawberry 🍓 filled SO delicious. “Came here for the coffee stayed for the breakfast! Been coming here for a while and the food is always on point. This time the place was more busier than my previous visits, but that was ok, as our food came out on time and hot. The coolest thing about Brooklyn Water Bagel is their iced coffee, which unlike other cafes they freeze their coffee into cubes, that way your coffee tastes the same as time passes by and not watered down. The coffee was self served so there were many flavors to choose from. I had the dark roast with the bourbon pecan creamer, and it was sweet. Definitely a new favorite flavor. For breakfast I had the asiago bagel with a cheese omelette made with tomatoes mushrooms and spinach, yummy in taste and healthy. Gf had an omelette too with some avocados and an everything bagel. She enjoyed her breakfast very much so. If you’re looking to have a unique breakfast experience Brooklyn Water Bagel is the place to be!”
