“This place is truly a gem. It is open 24/7 and serves breakfast all day, plus its in walking distance of Bayview Hospital. I came here for a couple of breakfast sandwiches after a night shift and was charmed by how homey this bakery is. The staff was friendly and the service fast. The sandwiches were $5 each and tasted like what I wish my homemade breakfast sandwiches tasted like. It’s so refreshing to have real eggs and meat, nothing pretentious or out of the freezer. The food has a homemade taste in the best way and I look forward to enjoying exploring the rest of the menu.”

“We really love Bauman’s! It’s a lovely family-run farm and store that has a plethora of products: from fresh produce and meats and baked goods to pickled veggies and jams to gifts and gardening supplies. They also have a place to grab a coffee or a bite to eat. We are fans of their ciders, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic (their grapefruit guava is fantastic). This is also a great place to get garden starters! Finally, they have a fun harvest/fall festival, which was limited, understandably, in the last couple years due to Covid. Definitely stop by to support this great local business. Their staff is very friendly!”

“I would give this more then 5 stars if I could. Today I had a bad personal experience and going through a rough time financially. I did not realize how much over I went with my small budget trying to feed a family of 4 until after the transaction was already happening. Needless to say I was short and asked if it could be voided out because the line was being held up and I didn't want to make the cashier go back and ring through everything that I could afford. He told me he couldn't void it because the transaction was already happening. All I wanted to do was run away from embarrassment but I went to customer service just to tell them I cannot purchase the items today and that I was just going to leave but I didn't want to walk out with the line being held up and not tell someone. During me telling her I'm so sorry but I'm just going to go ill put everything back not only did she offer to cover my difference with was a good amount but she also said not to worry about putting it back and not at any point made me feel stupid for being in that situation. She said she would void it out for me so I took my two kids and headed back to my truck, I didn't even make it to my vehicle before I heard someone behind me saying ma'am ma'am I turned around and there she was with my grocery basket. She on her own covered my difference anyway and not only that but she loaded my groceries into my truck while I dealt with my kids (my 1.5 year old was having a fit) I unfortunately did not ask her name because of the overwhelmedness I was feeling and I wish I would have so I could shout her out personally. But if walmart or the higher ups see this she was working in customer service today I was there at around 11:40am and if you see this I cannot not thank you enough for showing me kindness like that. I have never experienced that much kindness from a person much less a stranger before. I sobbed in my truck the whole way home not just because of the embarassment but more because of that amount of kindess she showed me today. She deserves to be praised, made employee of the month, give her a raise everything!!! And my intention when I do get the money is to find her again and pay her fully back with interest!”

They had these cute cups for the ice cream called creature creations topped with a chocolate shaped tail or shell pertaining to the sea creature on the cup and a free hat that matched. “Reviewing their burritos. I've visited twice already and I can say their burritos are tasty and taste fresh. I've tried 3 of their fillings, including beef tongue, "lengua" and I was pretty impressed with the taste. Customer service is good, cashiers are friendly. During lunch the place is busy and there is a small delay in getting your order. Other times, it is pretty quick. Price point matches with the quality, and I'm definitely coming back. The restaurant could use an update, as well as their hard to read screen menus. Lastly, they sell the same tortillas their burritos are made by the dozen.”
