“Although it's now called Atlas Cafe, Eko cafe in downtown Hayward is essentially the same as it was when we lived here 8 years ago! They make great traditional crepes, traditional in that the layers are thin and plentiful, not in flavors. This s'mores option really hit the spot, especially because of the graham cracker bits' crunch sprinkled in there with the melted marshmallow, cookie butter, and chocolate. Great cafe for working, too, especially on a sunny afternoon.”

“Wonderful new coffee shop in a perfect location. Staff was friendly, inviting, and speedy. Bohemian latte was even better than the description would indicate. Good selection of drinks and food options. Regular coffee served at perfect drinking temperature. Interior was pleasantly decorated and even featured art/craft items for sale. Large deck out back door will provide great views of the lake. Fully recommend this new shop and can only imagine how great it will be once the weather is warmer.”

“Was craving some chocolate after a delicious lunch down the street. Did a simple Google search and journeyed our way to Tahoe City Chocolates. It's located inside a mall on the second floor. It's on the right hand side at the end of the hall when you are at the top of the staircase. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by two friendly gentlemen, who were immediately eager to let us sample their sweet fare and introduce various imported chocolate. We tried so many samples we felt guilty! This is one of the most knowledgeable chocolate shops I've ever been. If you tell them what you like, they can recommend something to fulfill that craving! They offer plenty of homemade chocolate and imported chocolate/ candies you don't normally see, even in an import shop. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!”

“BEST COFFEEHOUSE! My family and I always stop here for a delicious coffee, tea or treat. The staff is always friendly and kind both at the drive thru and in-store. I’ve never had a conceded or rude worker interact with me once at this place and it’s so refreshing after dealing with Starbucks employees. The drive thru is kind of tricky so make sure you keep an eye out for it behind the Cafe Rio Mexican Restaurant. The ice blended drinks are some of the best drinks I’ve ever had and I highly recommend trying their seasonal offerings. I’m a massive fan of the winter dream tea latte and the cookie butter ice blended drink during December. On a regular day I would say you can’t go wrong with any of their drinks. Oh and I’m also in love with their spinach and egg breakfast sandwich, it’s a dreamy little pillow of goodness! If you’re a college student that’s looking for a calm place to relax or work, this is the place!”

The chefs are very kind and easy to talk to while they are making your food. They never shoot down any questions and reply in a great tone. “This place is every board game persona heaven! Over 2,000 games! The place itself is cozy and welcoming, filled with people having fun! We had lunch while we were playing and even the food was great. The homemade potato salad was fantastic. The hardest part is picking a game! Wish they had some kind of system where you could put in how many players, type of game, and difficulty level then it would give you suggestions. Maybe something linked with boardgamegeek.com? Overall, it is worth the 45 minute drive from Tampa to spend the day playing games, eating good food and they also have beer!”

First, they take your order and pay before being seated to a table so know what you want so you don't hold up the line. You can basically order anything on it and you're gonna love it. The only thing that held me back from 5 stars was our waitress, who to be fair, we were told was new and it was her first large table (5 people.) I completely understood this, but she did make a few errors and we had to have another waitress help sort things out. Overall the food and atmosphere is still worth it though.”
