“New York Bagel has been making great bagels at this location since about 1974. There is a small cooler which contains a decent selection of cold drinks and toppings for your bagels. There is also a small rack of packaged bagel chips and bagels. These photos were taken five minutes before the store closed on a weekday and, as you can see, they had a few of everything still left. The bagels weren't still steaming hot like they are in the morning but they were still soft and fresh. Very nice people work here and they will heat your bagel if you ask. Currently the store is open everyday from 7am until 2 pm.”

There are many options available on the board, but most of them are out of stock. They did not have the milk carton style coffee cup too. A good place to try. Do we go again? “My daughter hosted her sisters bridal shower here and it was one of the most delightful experiences ever. We had lovely scones, lemon curd, Clotted cream and sandwiches. Guests were required to wear pearls, gloves and hats. It was an afternoon of gracious southern ladies removed from cell phones and hectic schedules. It was all well plann in advanced and we worked closely with the owner to host the different atmosphere for a bridal shower we were seeking.”

It's in a rather unassuming location with just a couple small cafe tables You even order from a tiny counter but the food is well beyond the usual street corner window. All the ingredients are fresh, the eggs are cooked to perfection, the bread has just the right texture, croissants are layered and flakey and even the butter is shipped in from a European vendor. You get the fresh breeze off the ocean as you eat brunch and it is so magical. The service is outstanding and the food is even better! We got the cinnamon roll French toast in the combo which I highly recommend, the feta and avocado scramble, The chicken fried steak, and a classic omelette with bacon and ham and cheese but we turned it into a scramble and added avocado. We also got the Apple stuffed French toast and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! It tasted even better! Everything was so off the charts! We were filled to the brim with such amazing food and we will definitely be returning!”

We had seen and heard of it being on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. So glad we did. As we walked up to the cafe, we saw a crowd of people waiting outside the cafe. For a Sunday right in the peak of the breakfast rush, we anticipated waiting for a little bit. (That was fine) But... We didn't! We were quickly seated and was asked our drink orders and handed some menus. As we looked through all the amazing choices, we decided to get... Me: The Chicken Fried Platter Breakfast with 2 over easy eggs, home fries, and a biscuit. She: The Garden Omelet(Pepper Jack Cheese, Onions, Artichokes, Tomatoes, Spinach, Mushrooms) with some toast.
