“Looking for an adorable breakfast spot? Head to The Boathouse Cafe and you won’t be disappointed! This cute local scene serves chic decorations, picture-worthy color schemes, tasty breakfast and brunch dishes, and some of the kindest, most attentive staff you’ll find! Despite the limited restaurant space, we were seated immediately upon arriving - though we did notice a line beginning to form shortly after we got there, as it’s not a very large space. We each started with a smoothie — one blueberry pineapple and one mango banana — and they were a refreshingly delicious way to begin our experience. The blueberry pineapple smoothie was so good it deserves an extra shoutout! To eat, we had the avocado bowl and the Spanish omelette, and they did not disappoint. The avocado bowl was filled with handfuls of fresh, colorful veggies, and the omelette was topped with the cafe’s delicious house-made red sauce. The hash brown potatoes weren’t the greatest, as they seemed a bit undercooked. But overall, we had a wonderful experience, and their large and diverse menu options will definitely keep us coming back for more!”

“It's awesome to see a friendly little restaurant in the Portland metro area that serves ready-made Filipino food at good prices! My main disappointment is the rotating menu because that means sometimes some great Filipino staples aren't there, such as pancit bihon, which I always look for. However, what they make is tasty and enjoyable. I especially love their halo-halo, which tastes super fresh and rich! Perfect in the summer hot weather. Also, they offer a lot of Filipino snacks for purchase, and I highly recommend the Butter Cream crackers!”

Everyone I've brought there has liked it a lot! 1st time we were there the owner came out and greeted us sat right down and asked how everything was and offered us a free cup of Lobster Bisque. It was amazing!! She told us her story and it was beautiful. I think she's 90 and she said she still comes and works everyday. The decor is so cool and we love the outside seating area. “We had a good breakfast at our first visit. It was busy, but the wait times weren't bad. We sat at the breakfast counter and had the nicest server, Sylvia. She was friendly, energetic, and had great energy. I ordered the pecan banana pancakes with eggs and bacon. My husband had the Cuban and kept repeating how good it was. The juices are advertised as freshly squeezed on the menu but sitting at the counter, we watched them pour from plastic bottles. We will be back as the menu has many enticing options. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. We don't recommend sitting at the breakfast bar....the expeditor Johanne was kind of obnoxious yelling *I need a runner* every 3 min. She was obviously stressed and didn't hold her cool. She was rude to the kitchen staff on many occasions. I didn't like her lack of leadership and teamwork. When so many people are sitting their watching, you need to be cool and calm. The kitchen leader handled it well, though. He smiled and joked and kept his team focused. I enjoyed watching him enjoy himself while also getting orders out in an efficient manner. He's a gem! Prices are reasonable. We will be back. 4/17/22 stopped in for Easter breakfast and sat outside since a beautiful morning. Enjoyed our pancake special and breakfast quesadilla.”

The live music selection, open fire pits, and cows mooing softly in the background are a spiritual combination. “Fantastic, just like the original Rick's in Downtown Guthrie! Friendly people, nice location, and before you say "its in the same building as a PHARMACY?" Don't worry, both businesses are in the same strip mall, but are in separate businesses (they're decided) so there's no cross contamination of coffee and sick people, haha :-) Been here several times with my Mom during the hot summer months, when we didn't want to get out in the heat to get walk-in take-out coffee. Always fresh, and the best part is, you can also buy their beans or ground coffee in bags through the drive-thru! Be aware of the bagged coffee price fluctuation due to "fair-trade no child-labor" market. Today I had the TLG shot organic turmeric, lemon, ginger, echinacea oil: it will grow hair on your chest (not really) and the curry lentil soup with chunks of carrot, celery, onion and garlic. My honey had the Greek Salad topped with Blackened mahi-mahi Fresh feta, chick peas, kalamata olives, tomatoes, onions, yellow peppers - just perfect. The walnut banana bread was tasty but a bit dry. And just like at home, you pretty much have to bus your own table, which need a deep scrubbing (hence the 4 ⭐️ 🤷🏻♀️) Top it with the Super friendly staff and I will absolutely be back for more!”
