They do a great job of making my simple americano hit my morning taste buds just right - sure I could spend 40$ in supplies to make it at home but I like the envy of my coworkers as I consistently show up 5 minutes late with my signature unbranded iced americano from village coffee. All the baristas and baristos I see here are kind and ive never had an issue with anything but I get the vibe that id I did it wouldnt be the talk of the rest of the day here Check it out!”

“Visited Kilwins after a brief walk at Grandscape. Tried their sea salt caramel and chocolate vanilla ice cream upon the staff member’s recommendation. It was smooth, creamy and not too sweet. We asked for single scoops and it was just the right quantity. We also bought some chocolate coated pretzels which were too good. The ambiance was perfect and there is plenty of outdoor seating. Will try their other flavors soon.”

“This place was really good! I was happy to find that their prices were very reasonable and their empanadas were stuffed full. Really good flavor in the empanadas and a good crunch on the outside. They have a bunch of sauces you can choose from and the one we got was delicious. They were super nice and brought us chips and salsa while we waited and we sat along the front windows at the counter on bar stools. The whole place is just one room so you can look right in as they cook and do things in the kitchen, but that did make it a little warm inside. It is very clean and it's a bright atmosphere and it was a very pleasant place for a quick lunch. The girl who took our order was very friendly too. I'm not in the area that often, but I have a feeling I'm going to be stopping here every time I go by.”

“Like most, I saw the fruity pebble covered macaroon ice-cream sandwich and I had to try it and take some pics for my Instagram. We went in for 20 min just to try it out and it did not disappoint. There is parking in the back as well. Small space but a good stop. the ice-cream sandwich was huge so my husband, mother, and I shared it. We also the had the cookies and we even bought some to snack on later.”

All the staff are very nice and they welcome everyone who enters and say goodbye to them also with kindness. (A simple act, but it holds a lot of value) Also, I noticed kindness and friendship between them. They can be described as people who work with love and not for other material reasons. “Am on a motorcoach trip with 58 senior citizens. Our bus driver pulled into this Racetrack for a rest stop. That's a whole lot of chaos coming through the door at one time, and all heading to the restrooms to boot. 🙀😅 But employee Que took charge and made sure everyone was safe and satisfied. Welcoming and professional, she's a real asset to the company. I imagine she's a supervisor but if not she should be. And the store itself was well laid out, bright, tidy and CLEAN. Good place to stop whether you're a local or just passing through.”
