“I've been here about a dozen times. Some nice views, right along the PCT, has fire pits, and a vault toilet AND picnic tables. Sometimes it can be windy. We brought extra rations of soda and snacks for the thru hikers (I believe this spot is around mile 500 from Mexico, on the way to Canada). I was camping in my roof top tent when a bear came through a few of the camps, so you'll want to be aware of that. I had a cooler WITH NO FOOD just plastic water bottles, and the bear still bit into the cooler probably from previous experience assumed food was in there, but it wasn't a big scare or anything. I had heard the bear has been through camp before. I take my 2 and 5 year olds with me each time I camp and they love the area.”

“Eastlake RV is a great place. The property is beautiful and all the amenities they have to offer their guest definitely puts them ahead of the competition. The management team is very nice and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay there. I was there for the past 15 months and hope to return in the future.”

“Dog park and horse access, need daily permit at $10 or yearly at $40 although it is doubtful that forest service would show up. This is will county. About 2 mile east of state rt 102/water street. If your not here for dog park then access is free. There is equine trailer parking here too. There is access to the glacial trail that can take you all the way to Chicago. The local part of the trail is pedestrian, equine and bicycle.”

“Nice campground. Some of the sites are odd and hard to get into. A little old fashioned, not as updated as some campgrounds. Close to a nice trail for walking, fishing creek, it was too cold for the pool. Kids loved the playground.”

“Great park, close to highway, but no road noise. Great price, helpful owner, family owned. They have primitive spots and full hookup.”

“So beautiful back here & secluded. Quiet, serene. No bathrooms in sight so bring something to "go" in or you're goin behind a bush. It does get VERY frigid back here as well, so if you're camping be sure to bring tons of firewood and blankets. It snows a ton back here too. It's a nice spot to bring the kids to play with or without snow. Does get crowded by individuals who like to go off-roading. Would be a beautiful hike back here too. I would honestly say the only downside is no bathrooms. The road to come in is a tight squeeze and sometimes someone has to pull up on the side wall to let someone through, or just reverese. Depenxs on the size of both vehicles and if there is a train of cars behind one or the other. Really great place, though. I would definitely love to come camping here for a week or so if we had the time & would recommend it to anyone.”

“We stayed at several Quality RV Resorts. We had some wonderful experiences, but at Southlake, I must say that Jennifer and her crew is unbeatable. Jennifer is so caring and loving, a matter of fact, she is the reason why we decided to stay at Southlake. She makes you feel welcome. Thanks Jennifer and your wonderful crew. Quality Rv Resorts are the best.”

“This site is only accessible by canoes or kayaks. There is no public road access to the campsite. Secondly, the site is maintained by the NPS, (National Park Service) within the DWGNRA, (Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area). People found camping at this site that are not on a river trip or camped at the site for longer than one day can expect to receive hefty fines from the NPS. This site was actually an Eagle Scout project according to the signs. There are two different levels to the campsite, which is nice for boaters. We were able to leave the boats on the lower level,(yet more than high enough that the river is no issue), and camped on the upper level. There are railroad tie stairs from the river up to the site, making it nice weather muddy or dry. This is actually the second to last site on this section of river. After another 1/2 mile and there are no other campsites for more than 20 miles, and those are private or reserved sites. There was quite a bit of room, and the site was very clean. According to all the literature this is a site with no road or trail access. HOWEVER, as dusk fell, a small group of local fishermen came walking through the camp to access the river. It turns out the locals know this place well and it is very popular with the anglers. Upon leaving this site you will only travel down river about 30-45 minutes before you come upon Shawnee Golf Course. Beyond that another 20 minutes and you find yourself at the New Jersey Welcome Center and Mt. Tammany, a large mountain that forms the eastern side of the Delaware Water Gap. It has a moderate difficulty hike that takes about an hour an a half round trip to complete, but it has the most incredible view. You have to go to the top if you get here. If not it will always be one of those "I should have" memories. The Appalachian Trail also cuts across the top of this mountain. All in all, a great campsite, just do not be surprised if in the middle of the night you have local fishermen visiting.”

“The only place I like to camp in proximity of philly, always taking international students here. Plenty of trails to hike on, loads of fun for any age of toy like the outdoors. Never had an issue with mosquitoes here either now that i think of it.”

“Traveling full-time in a 38-foot coach we stayed 2-nights in a site for big rigs. The good….If you desire to stay close to Cape May this would be a good option. The residents occupy all the sites upfront so this is a quiet park, and very well maintained. If you have a dog there's ample area to walk. After 2-nights the dust on our coach was minimal compared to many other parks. Big coaches need a gravel pad, so we give this RV Park a 5-star rating for the thick gravel pad. There was plenty of area next to the coach for sitting outside and setting up a BBQ. The bad…at the front of our site was a big electrical panel. Our cell phones didn't work at our site (probably due to the cursed electrical panel) however, if we walked a distance away, our phones worked fine. That was a definite inconvenience. There is no reason why they should have put us there with all the other open sites. Also, if you have satellite and your staying in a site located on the outside perimeter, you won't receive reception due to all the beautiful tall trees. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again, but we would definitely request a different site.”

“Awesome place to be with family If you have a nice size tent Bring it there's plenty of room for it , Always ask for water and electric at your site. Down fall???? When it rains and your on the sand area camping it's the worst! Try getting a concrete floor or paved We had water mixed with sand coming from all directions into our tarp before reaching our 10x10 canopy family tent. We made a crease on the floor to chase the rain water out.. It was fun after all.”
