“We stayed here the weekend of the cranberry Festival in Chatsworth. The campground provided free transport to and from cranberry Festival. They also extended the stay n Sunday from 11 to 4 because of the festival. So we were able to stay an extra 5 hours and enjoy our time camping for free. We were checked in by a nice lady named Kathy who was helpful. I found all the staff to be very friendly and nice. We are looking forward to going back next year.”

“Great campground near the Carranza Memorial. There’s a well here at the front with very clean looking water (although I still filtered it). The loud military planes can be a bit annoying. Batona Trail runs right next to it. Lots of spaces.”

“All of the public lands in the Pine Barrens are worth a visit. There's nowhere else like it in the world. I love finding old abandoned cranberry bogs (see photos) and blueberry farms. Amazing animals and plants. You can hike all day in the pines and never see another person. It's really wilderness out there.”

“Rustic as it gets. A cleared out space in the dirt way deep in the woods on a nice body of water. There is no glamping and no hookups. The road in is barely a vehicle width. Unless you have AWD or 4WD, don't even think about coming back here. Open year round if you don't mind everything frozen over. Some people are into that.”

“My son loved all the activities. Counselors were so nice and always available to answer questions. Even when it rained they had many other things to do. Sleepover was worth it.”

“I have been a counselor at the JCC Camps at Medford for the last three summers and have loved every second of it! I unfortunately never had the privilege of being a true camper, but before I joined the staff, I was a counselor in training for half of the summer of 2015. I can not say enough good things about this camp and the effect it has on both its campers and staff! Every weekday for two wonderful months I get the pleasure of boarding a bus full of smiling, laughing, and singing campers. Once we reach camp, I am greeted by the camp’s amazing directors and their Disney playlist at the bus yard. From there I walk to my division, where my bunk is waiting to bombard me with questions regarding the day’s schedule. Every day is filled with new experiences and continuous fun! I can promise you, there was never a dull moment at the JCC Camps at Medford! My favorite part of working at the JCC Camps at Medford is watching my campers grow emotionally, spiritually, and socially each summer! I myself have become the responsible young adult I am today in a large part thanks to this camp. I have formed amazing friendships with my fellow counselors each summer that continue to last well after the summer comes to an end. In addition, I realized I wished to pursue a career in elementary education as a result of the time I have spent at this camp and the countless memories I have made here (memories I will treasure forever). I am proud to consider the JCC Camps at Medford my second home and I am counting the days until I am able to return (194 days to go)! There is no better camp to send your child to for the summer and there is no better camp to work at than the JCC Camps at Medford!”

“I Went to a company bbq here and it was great. Canoeing, row boats, paddle boats, tennis courts, volley ball, and large swimming pools all monitored by lifeguards. The parking was a little far if you arrived late but its a beautiful walk. Great place to go with the family.”

“Had a nice relaxing weekend, it was the last weekend of the season and the weather was terrible but the campground was great. We had a good sized level site and very nice views of the woods across from our site. Plenty of room to back the 37ft motorhome up without any problems. Got a campfire in on Friday night before the nor'easter rolled in. Nice camp store and friendly staff, all in all a good time.”

“I'm really surprised about these reviews. I've been here twice so far and both times the bathrooms were spotless! It's a regular campsite, nothing special or over the top but you'll have a good time with your company! We were up super late playing music and loud games and we didn't get in trouble. I like it here and plan to return!”

“I've been going here for about 5 years now. From 1st year of YA to now as my last year of Travel. It's a friendly and cool place. However it's not cheap. It's pretty much a rich white kid thing. I'm not saying if you're a minority you can't go there but most of the camp is white. Anyways, they make food for lunch there and it's very good. They take care of your allergies if you have any. The staff can be over excited if your older and tired of them, like me. If you are in the middle school age and are thinking of entering travel, I say do it. You go to a lot of fun places and have big overnight trips at hotels and go to different out of state areas. This camp overall is very fun but I'm just older and tired of the same stuff when we dont go on trips.”

“This place is a Disneyland for kids fighting cancer. It's another home away from home. With warm & devoted volunteers (yes, everyone in this camp is a volunteer) every kids gets treated with heartwarming devotion, just like a father to his son. The unimaginable becomes imaginable, the impossible becomes possible, the unexpected becomes expected, and each kid will never forget his experience in Camp Simcha.”

“My husband and I stayed here just over a month. We really liked it. While the sites are tight with several trees, I felt they were plenty big enough and the trees offered just enough shade and privacy to be well worth the extra trouble backing your trailer. The staff were all super friendly as were the other campers that we met. The only downside was that it could use some sprucing up. A little landscaping and grooming would go a long way. Its a beautiful property with buildings that really just need some paint and hauling off the old vehicles and campers sitting around would make a world of difference. The laundry facilities are a older but clean and well lit, we didn't use the bathhouse, but I did go in once to use the trash can and it appeared clean. The pool is huge and the playground was really nice. We had no issues with the water or water pressure. It was a very quiet, nice campground centrally located to several attractions. It is a little expensive, but not much more than the other campgrounds that we checked in the area, so I'd say it's in the ballpark. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here.”

“Loved the raft. Loved the river. Loved how at peace u are out on the water. Didn’t love the school bus ride back so much but it’s a 10 min ride so who cares. This place was great. Going next weekend this time with my dog.”
