“Nov. 2021, Loop 1 #12. Parkers Creek is one of several camping areas around Jordan Lake. We found the campground very nice, easy access. The sites that we saw were all pretty level, with plenty of shade trees all around. There are a few trails that pass through or near the campground. Bath house was fine, we enjoyed our weekend there.”

“We stayed at the campground in our camper for our granddaughter's birthday. Her and her family rented one of the new cabins. I was extremely impressed with all the campground had to offer. They have a nice big pool, putt putt, a store, on sight laundry showers and much much more. They also have a weekend menu. We ordered a breakfast which consisted of hash browns, eggs, bacon and a biscuit for around $5. Very reasonable. They brought our piping hot breakfast right to the campsite! Oh and also they had an ice cream social on Saturday night. I am considering having my own birthday weekend there! The staff is very friendly as well. Thank you for a super fun weekend!”

“Our group didn't get room, just used the grounds during the day for our car rally. The park was clean, spacious with lots of things to do; camp, fish, paddle boat, and swim.”

“A must on your "Bucket List". If you love horses & camping, this is the place for you. New comers recommend getting a map to enjoy all the trails & to stay safe out there. Us serious riders, there is usually water at the springs. Ranger may not always know the conditions out there, so network with other advance riders. There's something for everyone. Don't forget the "Lake Ride"! 🏞️”

“This is a great place to visit. Hiking trails, fishing, camping and parks for kids to play. I always enjoyed going here walking the trails and fiahing here. I fished from the banks. Great crappie fishing on the channel in the spring. I fished here alot out of my kayak and a boat. Caught my biggest bass so far from here. I rode my mountain bike through the trails all the way around the lake alot of times. They also have 2 beaches here for swimming. They also rent kayaks at the campground. They have picnic shelters also. Just an all around wonderful place for anyone who loves the outdoors.”

“This is a barebones park. There is nothing to entertain the kids but the people I've met are down to earth, good people. It's a good place for a stopover or if you're working in the area. And the rates are very low.”

“We are traveling across the United States and ran across this campgrounds. Started reading the reviews. Well we decided to stay anyways. We are so glad we did. One the staff is amazing. Thank you for all the information. The road in, yes it's a little rough but it's a campgrounds. It's first come fist choice. Spot 220 is great, we did not need Sewer for the one night. I could go on and on but this is a nice place nice lake also.”

“My friend and I stayed here for a Saturday night. We spent Saturday and Sunday at the hot springs hiking in and out each day. The staff at the entrance were extremely friendly and welcoming. They took their time to explain the route to the springs to us thoroughly and were very helpful when we thought our dog had been bitten by a snake. I am plan to return in a few weeks with another friend because I had a great time there 😊 they also sell firewood and have a small breakfast menu if you order the night before!”

“We stayed at the campground at site 19. We were right behind the bath house. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was very quiet. Lots of wildlife was visible from our site. It was very nice. All spots have their own picnic table and nice fire pit. Will definitely be back.”

“We stayed here once and already have a second stay booked! I loved everything about my stay, even the visitor (racoon) we had in the middle of the night. Even though he ripped a borrowed tent. What kind of an outdoor experience would it be if we didn't experience wildlife at its finest? We had a site, way out back. All to ourselves. My husband, 2 kids (9 & 11), and I. It was so peaceful, I really needed that. We rented a golf cart for the 3 day Memorial Weekend stay. Their firework show was phenomenal! Hands down one of THE best that I've ever been to. The owners were nice and helpful. Their older children had activities going for the kids. My kids loved it. Although we took their bicycles, the only wanted us to take them in the golf cart everywhere. Lol. It was there first time. Definitely recommend! Already trying to convince my husband into becoming seasonal campers 😀”

“We stayed in the family house. Three adults and 7 kiddos. It's got a real "church youth group" retreat feel to it. The living room is uncomfortable and sparse. Tons of beds and they were fairly comfortable. The downstairs (basement) level is freezing but we liked that. The kitchen needs an island and it was barely stocked with enough tools to cook for 2 people let alone 10 to 20. No dish towels, no kitchen rug, one or two pots and pans, no plastic bowls or tupperware. It's definitely NOT like an Airbnb where there's a cabinet of odds and ends. We picked up groceries on our way only to find we needed to return to purchase coffee filters, salt and pepper and other things that are standard amenities when you rent a large home from airbnb. That stuff is cheap and should be provided. We left the remainder of our 200 filters (195) for the next person along with some other necessary supplies. Hopefully they will help out the next person. Maybe the staff just takes everything for themselves when folks leave? The sleeping rooms are carpeted and the large living/ dining area are hard flooring but there wasnt a vacuum or mop to be had in case you needed to clean up. Any house that is meant to accommodate large groups (with kids) should have those things. Especially when you're expected to leave it in the condition you found it. We went back to the store to buy a swifter mop and no matter how many times I mopped the floor was never clean and the mop pad was black with dirt. The Airbnb ad said it had a highchair which meant you had to go to the snack bar to get one of their wooden table highchairs. The kind restaurants have with no tray and not functional for any child under 6 months. The split level steps that go up and down arr completely unsafe for kids. The spindles are like 12+ inches apart and a small child could easily fall from the second level straight down to the bsmt. So that was another trip back to the store to spend $60 bucks on a walkthrough baby gate. Plus $20 on an electric screwdriver in case the baby was strong enough to push the tension mount and still tumble down the stairs. The gift shop is way overpriced but that's to be expected. One of the pool slides was broken and it was broken 4 yrs ago when we stayed in one of the larger cabins. But the pools and splash pads were great otherwise. Unfortunately, they don't open until 11am which kinda sucks for kids who wake up at 6am. I think 9am or 10am would be more appropriate. Another issue is that they're not really clear about how and when to sign up for the zip line and other paid activities. They need a booklet that gives accurate info like "all children must be present at sign up" and "you can sign up in advance". We wasted a lot of their and our time because of vague information. Another thing of note is that they have expanded since we were last here and now visiting guests have to park at the entrance and walk to the other side of the campground. So my cousins with kids had to carry their baby, and all their pool supplies, etc and drag their young kids across the grounds. Then go back for a watermelon. When it's 90 degrees. That really sucks. Overall, the staff was really friendly and the kids had a blast. It was just a rough stay for adults due to the dirty conditions, lack of supplies, no comfortable place to sit and relax in the house, having to drop off and pickup visiting family member (who pay to visit) at the entrance, and charging like three thousand dollars for 5 days of vacation that felt like work.”

“This is a clean park with a lot of permanent residents. We have a 43 ft. 5th wheel and they were able to accommodate us. The streets are kind of tight, but it worked for us. The office staff were incredibly helpful and polite. They went out of their way to help us and we appreciated it. One of the residents even came out to help us park. This place is very convenient to shopping and things to do. We didn't get to use the pool, but it is very nice.”

A variety of food is available, including pizza, popcorn, and funnel cake. Credit cards accepted with a small processing fee. The farm transforms to Cheeseman Fright Farm in the night. Haunted hayrides and attractions. Open Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays”

“We were unable to get a spot earlier last week - April (it's very popular, especially with birders) but the ranger told us to try Monday or Tuesday after noon and we were able to choose from 3 open spaces, though only one would have been available for an RV. People in RVs will happily stay for the 14 day maximum, though you can go down the road to the much more remote Proctor campground and wait for a space to open up. Proctor offers dispersed camping, far from the neighbors, but it's lower elevation and in shrubs instead of trees. At Bog Springs, we noticed that the RV next to the toilet relocated to another spot when we were packing up, so it's not hard to get an ideal space if you have time and patience. We only stayed one night and had a great site in the back (sites 9 &10 by the Dutch John Spring trail are tents only). Each site has 1 or 2 picnic tables, fire pits, access to potable water (wonderful!) and ample trees to shade you or to hang a hammock. The campers across the street were camping in the hammocks. As it's getting hot in April in Arizona, it's lovely to be at this camp site that is in the low 80s during the day when it's 90s in Tucson. It dropped to the mid 40s at night, which was perfect sleeping bag weather. In the morning, we were visited by turkeys and deer strolling through.”

“Me and my family have been camping here for years. I wanted to say, for a lot of the bad reviews, they were under past ownership. I've worked with the current owners for a few years and they're nice people. The campground is incredibly enjoyable and they're always adding new stuff every summer. Of course no place is perfect, but for a small team, they're doing pretty good. On top of this, I know several of the seasonals and they are always kind and willing to help.”

“Don't let the Appearance fool ya. For an Older Motel These are very nice and clean rooms. The service representative comes every day and ask if you need anything. The motel Owners/Receptionist are Very Friendly and Kind. That's way more than I got when I stayed at the Hotel Inn Express in Tallahassee Florida. They wouldn't even give fresh towels but once every 5 days. When you work out of town. Theres usually 2 people to a room And 3 towels just don't cut it. If ya know what I mean.”

“Stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. Overall, all was good, pretty much what I expected. Sites were decent size. We were at site #7 in the Oak Loop. There was a large tree that provided shade most of the day which was nice. But from about 1-5pm it got pretty toasty until the sun started going down. Just a good idea to do some research on what sites have shaded areas or make sure to bring your own shade. Bathrooms were fine, vaulted toilets, sometimes ran out of toilet paper, but usually filled periodically throughout the day. Camp host was very friendly. And probably about a 20-30 minute drive to town, which was convenient for last minute supplies. There is also a hiking trail just across the main road.”

“This resort is great! We stayed in site one. The site has gravel and level. Laundry room just got new machines and they work great! The showers are clean but only 3 of them (one each for men and women and family) Pool and hot tub were always clean and tended too. The staff and community are all wonderful! Highly recommended staying here. The price is excellent!”

“We have been to Eby Pines Campground several times now. We love the pool and the big playground. This campground always has fun activities for the kids. They have a wonderful dog park that's completely fenced in with benches, trees and even a poo bag station! Lots of fun with golf cart rentals available. Also they have a fishing pond and river all on the property. Shower houses are nice, pretty clean and rarely out of tp. They have security at nice which gives me piece of mind that we are safe while sleeping. The staff is kind and friendly. The atmosphere here is definitely family friendly. I've never seen fights or drunks running around or packs of kids running around through the night. The park is clean as in no trash on the grounds. We have camped in just about every area and they all have pluses but over all not much to complain about. Bottom line if you camp here, you will have a good time!”
