“I don’t normally post reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after the exceptional service I received from Webb’s RV. I recently had a inverter installed by Webb’s RV and on our last outing my wife’s brand new curling iron would not work off the inverter. I figured that the curling iron must be bad because everything else worked off the inverter. When I returned home we tried plugging the curling iron into a plug at the house and it worked fine? So I broke out my multi-meter and checked the voltage at the plug in our RV with the inverter on and it read 100.2 volts. Ah ha! It’s the inverter that must be bad. I contacted Jon at Webb’s and told him the story. He contacted the manufacturer which told him you can’t accurately check the voltage of the inverter with a regular multi-meter because it’s a modified sine wave. You need a RMS meter to measure the voltage. Jon purchased a RMS meter and loaned it to me to check the voltage and verify if this was true. The answer to that question is yes, there was nothing wrong with the inverter. The problem is with my wife’s new curling iron not being able to recognize the modified sine wave of the new inverter. The effort that Jon made in ordering the RMS meter for me to use is above and beyond what I have come to expect from a RV service center and they should be commended on their service! It’s comforting to know that there are still businesses out there that make their customer’s feel their needs are important even after the bill is payed!”
