I am so happy because the steamed layer cake has the flavor and consistency I've been looking for. The store ones are more gummy and blend like one jelly and the middle parts aren't great. The staff was nice and quick with my order which is made at the door no going in so much more convient. They have a picture of the items they have on a little menu. These bakery items made here are so delicious and the steamed rice cake was spongy and light very yummy. Also tried the cassava cake which was warm and had a lightly crunchy top really good to try. It was very good price for how much I got today. I definitely will be driving the 40 mins from LA to come again thank you for a lovely visit. beyond happy thank you BTW they are open daily from 9am to 6pm.”

They took care of everything A-Z answered all of my questions, and my loved one was taken care of quickly and in the most dignified manner possible. As I am not a Muslim I found it very valuable that he took the time to explain everything to us, even during the ceremony, he would stop and explain what and why things were being done. “My family and I had been through so much and the last thing we thought we’d ever have to do is pick out my sisters burial site; we had gone to a cemetery that all they seemed to care about was price and making sure we picked them. My family left feeling worse than ever; the funeral home told us about Hill Country Memorial Cemetery and immediately when we arrived we were greeted by the owner and he had been working in the cemetery so he apologized for his appearance. He informed us usually his wife greets us, but she was absent that day. He showed us around and we instantly knew this was the best place to bury my sister. They cared about my family and didn’t treat us like another dollar sign. Like other reviews I too had an encounter with a groundskeeper, however he was very pleasant. I went to visit my sister one day and just stood there staring at her grave crying and lost. He came up to me, stood next to me, and apologized for my loss and let me just tell him about her and cry. He let me take my time, and informed me I was parked where I wasn’t supposed to, but let me take my time before I moved my vehicle. You get a sense of peacefulness and I couldn’t be happier with where we chose to have my sisters final resting place.”

“I chose Anderson Funeral Home for my mothers funeral just 30 days ago, The entire staff was amazing to deal with, I had never lost a parent before so this was my first time in this situation and it was amazing to me how Tim Anderson was there on time, prepared and very professional, caring and no pressure. He walked myself and my brother through everything and made it so comfortable. He greeted us for visitation and my mother was BEAUTIFUL!! The staff did a perfect job from hair to the flowers, in which Tim recommended from their florist. He also arranged the transport to Iowa for another visitation and funeral.
