I was there for a short time and was able to benefit from the pastor's right-on preaching. I loved how he got my attention with interesting information and stories and then linked it to God's Word...I was focused. Also enjoyed the car show, the fish fry and hanging soap on people's doors, all outreaches to make known God's love. Not as 'perfect' people but people trying together to praise God's name. “I started coming to this church 15 years ago and I was so intrigued because this was the only church that welcomes questions and diving deep in the Bible. At the beginning, I went back to other churches and asked similar questions that might question their beliefs and I was shewed away. The Seventh Day Adventists value Biblical truth over any “status”. There are lots of opportunities to get involved in the various ministries available. Now my 3 year old and 9 month old love coming to Sabbath school and my 3 year old always looks forward to Vacation Bible School. She also gets to start Adventures this year and is so excited to do fun activities with church friends and earn patches. Throughout the year there are several fun social events for families as well. This is a smaller church but it feels like family and you get to grow in Christ together.”
