At that point I had reached out to a few different electricians, who were all quoting astronomical rates for the visit and it would be a while before they could come out. Once he arrived, he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He replaced my recessed lighting, upgraded and relocated my kitchen outlets, wired the power to my mounted microwave and garbage disposal, replaced my electrical panel, and wired and installed 4 light fixtures, in addition to a few other odds & ends, here and there.
