“This gym is an amazing hidden gem in downtown Albany. Bryan, the trainer who runs it, is friendly and knowledgeable and has mentored me for over a decade now. You can workout solo or utilize Bryan or one of the other trainers. The place has a great feel, friendly people, flexible hours, plenty of space and equipment, fitness classes, and a convenient locker room with showers... everything I need. Somehow it stays very reasonably priced and is never too busy. My workouts there are the highpoints of my day. Can't recommend the place enough. With all the fitness centers that have come and gone, I'm glad this one has stayed around.”

Christine was detail-oriented and grasped my ongoing back issues as the source of my overall body pain and misalignment, where others had not. Throughout the entire session, she knew exactly what positions to put me in to further correct my form and posture. “I started out by looking for a small and affordable MMA gym that could give me a good boost of confidence, discipline and self defense techniques. I contacted Coach Jorge after finding his gym online and kept in communication with him for a couple months until I could make time to join. He offered me a great deal and I've been enjoying it ever since. I've learned so much from going. The atmosphere is great and so are my teammates. The gym is small from the outside, but when you enter and join, it's a huge boost of confidence on this inside. It's easier to learn there compared to other gyms with hundreds of students bouncing all over each other. Coach Jorge can help you one on one without having to tend to 50 others. I couldn't recommend it enough. Great coach, great team, great gym.”

“Champ Camp is so much more than a gym! Tucked away in the heart of Washougal, Coach Jess ('shoug born and raised) has done a tremendous job of filling the need for a 24/7/365 community focused athletic facility. There's really nothing like Champ Camp anywhere else in Clark County. I love this place because you feel an air of greatness right as you walk through the doors and it shows when you look at the roster of professional athletes that also train there. And everyone I've ever talked to in there has been nothing but friendly and welcoming. Coach Jess is the heart and soul of this place. He's always got a friendly demeanor, but has that old-school no-excuses attitude to compliment it. The gym is truly an extension of his discipline and dedication to this community. Meeting Jess and hearing how existing members admired him was a big reason why I decided to join. It's a pretty rare occurrence when the dude training world-class fighters like Ricky Simón is the same dude leading the middle school athletic class, and the adult group classes on MWF and Saturdays. There's literally everything you could possibly need to get a complete workout in there: stair-steppers, free weights, multiple squat racks, and even a deadlift/clean platform as well as ton of machines. With it being literally the same price as a big box corporate gym like 24, it's a no brainer. Not to mention, memberships are capped at 500 members for Champ Camp. Which is sweet. I don't want this place to ever get too crowded and Jess assured me it won't. In conclusion, if you couldn't tell...I really like this gym and highly recommend it. I'm a bit of a Champ Camp Stan, and love supporting locally owned small businesses.”

The coaches are incredible and really excel at encouraging you to push past your limits while being equally good at giving you a heads up when you need to pull back and concentrate on your form. Their passion and knowledge about what they do allows them to provide individualized goals and guidance for everyone in their classes. As terrible as I was at everything when I started, the programming and coaching is so well designed that all I had to do was show up, listen to the coaches, and put in effort to see huge gains in both strength and endurance. A great and unexpected bonus is the awesome community atmosphere in the gym. Everyone from coaches to members is friendly and welcoming. “Great school with fantastic teachers. My daughter has been training at 316 for 18 months and her growth has been phenomenal, both as a person and as a Jiu Jitsu player. Having grown up in the martial arts myself, I know how invaluable hard work and discipline are, especially for young minds. So when our daughter decided that she was done with cheer after competing for six years, I encouraged her to try Jiu Jitsu. “Oh my goodness, so beautiful. even before going, the scheduling was fast and easy. I have pretty bad anxiety, and the lovely lady at the front took her time explaining everything and was patient with my questions. everything here is thought out and feels so welcoming. they even leave you a brush and comb for after, Vaseline for cuts, they have so many good records you can sit for as long as you’d like to listen to, a lot of beautiful artwork, just an overall peaceful place that’s unlike anywhere I’ve seen here. Even the water spray bottle in the float room has me impressed, I actually brought my own just in case! it was nice, quiet and truly felt like I was disconnected from the world, almost gives you a giddy feeling and I personally felt so safe and comfortable.💜 I have only tried the float so far, it's left me feeling refreshingly calm and almost sore/heavy, in a post massage kind of way! I’m excited and optimistic about the other services already :) if you want to give yourself and your body a treat I’d def recommend, I came in feeling tight and not the greatest but couldnt stop smiling like a fool before I left 😁”

This is one of the locations I recommend. The only thing I could possibly pick on which is not a big deal is that the showers temperature handle was broken so it was stuck at one temperature.”
