“GP Homes and Repair just finished up a seamless and painless kitchen remodel for us and I’m here to shout their praises from the rooftops. Since we live in central Plano (i.e. a 1970’s house), I’ve always dreamed of remodeling our kitchen but was worried about the process and how our family would survive without our main gathering/eating/cooking and entertaining area. I’ve heard lots of horror stories and was certain we would be adding to it after we finally made that step. However, enter Nick and David and their whole crew from GP Homes and Repairs and I can’t say enough fabulous things about the entire process. After our dishwasher started leaking and caused quite a bit of damage to cabinets and flooring in our kitchen, we decided that now was the time to do it. From the beginning steps of designing to demo day and finishing ahead of schedule (on Thanksgiving week), Nick and his team had us fixing our turkey dinner in our new kitchen and surrounded by our loved ones. “I had such a great experience at Scandinavian Designs! After looking everywhere with no success, I found the exact bed I wanted on their website. I decided to go to our local showroom to see it in person before purchasing it. I was greeted immediately, and when I described what I was looking for, the associate took me right to it. It was actually at the front of the store. I asked some questions and they were all answered very knowledgeably. The bed was gorgeous, functional (thanks to the storage drawer), sturdy, and reasonably priced. As I looked it over and tested the drawer, several other customers took notice and expressed their interest, too. I wanted to look around at all the other beautiful furniture and the associate said he'd be there to help me if I needed him. I appreciated not being hounded, and was also impressed with how he checked in on me to see if I had any questions along the way. It was a really wonderful shopping experience. I purchased the bed that day and he was able to schedule delivery and assembly exactly when I wanted it. Delivery was a breeze, the assembly was quick and perfectly done, and the delivery people were very professional. This was an A+ experience from start to finish, and we're absolutely in love with our new bed!”

“We called to have our gas fireplace cleaned and maintained. Scheduling was a breeze and I even received a phone call to see if I wanted to bump my time slot up. Anthony came out to check our unit and clean it. He was very respectful of our home and very kind to our very interested toddler. He answered all our questions and showed us how to light the fire in a power outage. Originally we were expecting to replace a sensor and remote system. Anthony was able to repair what we had. In a world where he could have easily said nope it’s broken you need to replace it, he took the time and effort to fix it and saved us some money. “I’ve used Chesapeake for numerous projects spanning over 11 years. Fernando’s team has the same guys he’s had for over a decade, which shows what an honest, reliable company he runs. They are polite, professional, exceeding helpful, and do excellent work. Fernando has superb design ideas and a full panoply of options in his showroom. When projects lapse, it’s often out of his control. He installed a picture window for us that came broken - twice - which delayed the job, but Fernando managed the delay beautifully. For my first kitchen renovation with him (I’ve done two, plus multiple bathrooms, enclosing a porch, and renovating two basements), I received multiple bids and his was very reasonable. He is a fair and honest man. The negative reviews on here do not reflect my longstanding experience. Even in between jobs, he has stepped in to help me with issues around the house. He is largely hands off while the work gets done, so if you need constant check ins, it’s something you must initiate. But for me, it’s unnecessary. I know Fernando will get everything done.”
