“This is such a great store! First it is clean and well maintained I have been to Goodwills in 3 different states and have seen enough for a fair comparison. Second the selection from cloths to home decor is great! An amazing selection of high quality finds. So if I’m looking for furniture or clothing I know I can find a great selection here. If you did not find what you were looking for or something else that caught your eye I would be surprised. The staff is also helpful. “Texas Paint on Lovers Lane is wonderful. They carry the top designer paints of Benjamin Moore and Fine Paints of Europe. From the manager, assistant manager, design consultant to all colleagues on staff, this place is the most professional and helpful paint store ever. Brenda Bond, Decorating Specialist, provided an affordable 90 minute interior and exterior consultation at our home. Her advice was perfect, and she even sent shutter style : color recommendations by text over Thanksgiving. Then she arranged almost a complete rebate of her design fee when we purchased the paint. Our project was complicated. Shannon Wolf and Ryan spent a great deal of time explaining which prep products would give us the best results. Everything worked together to create the magic we hoped for. Their Historical Paint Collection works beautifully on older homes. We had our painter bid for the work only so we could purchase the highest quality paint from the store of our choice. The paint is much prettier than the previous so-called match by another company store. This is the only paint store we will ever use. So many designers post Benjamin Moore paint colors on Pinterest. Glad we did not compromise. Plus now we know about Fine Paints of Europe. LOVE THIS STORE!”

“I was nervous about having our honey-oak cabinets refinished but Jon and Bonnie assured me we would be very happy with the outcome. They were correct! Instead of 27 year-old oak cabinets we now have great looking white cabinets that made our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room look new and up-to-date. The new color even made our granite countertops look better. They replaced our handles and added soft close hinges as well. All for a cost that was 40% less than the lowest refacing estimate we received. To top it off, everyone we met from Knoppe was great and went out of their way to make sure we are happy.”

“This is a fantastic place!( I always pass it but I’ve never gone inside). The building itself is an old barn and they still have some of the original floors. It is three stories and let you just say…wow it just kept going and going. There at 50 antique stores within the barn and outdoor area. They also do antique flea markets on the last Sunday of the month. Essentially a ton more options to choose from.”

“So I had a dilemma with my new appliance and tried to do an exchange the next day. Everyone pretty much gave me the middle finger and said I’m out of luck. After checking with the North Greenbush Home Depot location for “better customer service,” I tried the Washington Ave Ext site. I explained the situation to the manager and this time the customer to manager interaction was a complete 360 from the last location. He listened, acknowledged my concerns and came up with a solution. His name is Jeff, a customer experience manager and the way he was ready to solve this issue, he might as well have been my lawyer for the day. He knew my rights as a customer and was ready to get on the phone and speak with the manufacturer himself. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! After a lengthy hold, we finally got the approval for my exchange. He made sure to get a name and also checked the computer for customer log updates on the manufacturer’s end. Not to be dramatic, but I was nearly in tears. It was a very long and stressful day, but to end it on that note was truly a victory. This is now my new Home Depot location that I will happily drive 20 mins to for all my purchases as a new homeowner. Thank you Jeff!”

“We were looking to get flooring (LVP) installed in our house in four bedrooms and the hallway. We contacted Riley and he came out took measurements and then gave us some website to look at flooring. We picked out the flooring and about a week later our new flooring was installed. He said it would take about two weeks to get material, but it came in faster than expected. The work was completed in two days and we could not be happier with the quality of the work and the look of the flooring. Thank you Riley at Placer Floors!! “This is the finest vintage/antique store in Richmond I've ever come across. The selection is discerning yet fairly priced. Since my interests lie mostly in vintage/antique Asian items, if you are interested in them as well I can say that they have a very impressive selection of Chinese and Japanese wares. When I went today for the first time, there were several examples of vintage hand-painted Japanese "soba-choko" Imari/Arita, the cups used to dip soba noodles into their cold broth. I informed him of my area of interest and he enthusiastically showed me a recent acquisition - a gorgeous ink stone with a dragon motif (I think it's Chinese, but I'm not sure). I should mention that the owner is incredibly warm and kind and will most assuredly help you with anything you need. Even if you are more interested in Western items, you're in luck because that is mostly what they carry. I absolutely can’t recommend this place enough!”
