She was a patient at Access medical center, and we had a bad experience so that is the reason I wanted to try Oak Street. Everyone is so kind at Oak Street and the attention she gets is amazing. “I spent 3 weeks at the Ochsner Main Campus and am ending 3 weeks at the Extended Care Facility in a few days and have to very much disagree with the negative reviews. My stay was filled with knowledgeable caring staff. I can never repay the care that was provided for me, from Dr. Dunbar, the nurses, the aides, Kathy, Demetrice, Alan, Carolyn, Lillie, Netti, Lamar, Amy, Ada, Megan, Mary, Allisia, Martha, Regjenea, Danyell, Lavonzel, and last but not least, my favorite one, because she was my discharge nurse, Karen, and some I know I have forgotten, to my NP Kourtney, wound care, Meliss and Cristie, Janine, case mgr., Connie, also the environmental staff, Tonie, and Karla. Not to forget Mario, Jenny, Meshawn, and all of the food service workers who put some weight on me. I can't remember all your names, but remember all your faces and your smiles. Leann, Danielle and Kim even wrote a note on his discharge instructions thanking him for being able to provide service and I think that personalized his experience even more! The entire surgery team was great. Good bedside manners... They really value their patients. My son even looked for Leann when surgery was over to thank her. They were so loving that the one nurse that was rude and seemed to not have the same values that the other staff had, was over-looked by me because all the pleasant encounters over shadowed her rudeness... she needs to retire or go to another hospital. So unpleasant I can't even remember her name... Overall I absolutely loved the experience we had at Wesley woodlawn.”
