“My husband fell while on vacation. I chose Advent Health over other hospitals because of the good reviews. From start to finish, these dedicated medical professionals were exceptional! He was treated with the utmost care and even though we were in the ER for several hours, it was well worth it. Thank you Marisa who helped get my husband out of the car. The Triage nurse (name?) was attentive and nice. The PA, Eliza, was AMAZING! Nurse Leslie was compassionate! The 2 paramedics who attended are going to make great nurses! “I don't understand the majority of these bad reviews. Every time I've showed up to my appointments, I have been called into the office within 10 minutes of me checking in. In fact, I praise this practice for being so quick compared to other practices I've been too. My primary is Dr. Mitch Mayer, he is great. He takes time to talk to me about my issues and doesn't rush me out the door. Some reviews say they're "pill pushers", that's totally false, Dr. Mitch has always wanted to do other treatments before we got down to a prescription. I have dealt with Dr. Gupta and yes, she isn't the nicest doctor, so if you're looking for a doctor to listen to you I would stay away from her. She's very straight up and to the point and doesn't really want to chat. I have also dealt with a few PAs, they have all been great to me and answer my questions the best they could. I find it hard to believe that one of them told a patient that "you're lucky I'm answering your questions", just because you have a bad experience doesn't mean you should make up something. I have never had a single issue with their billing department. I 100% recommend Dr. Mitch and this practice.”

From the very beginning, my husband, the patient, and I were welcomed with genuine concern and care about his needs focusing on him medically, emotionally and every conceivable factor affecting him as a person. The relationship that ensued over a decade far exceeded that of a medical staff treating a patient. They became much more. Their medical expertise , a major component of Jimmy’s treatment was always top notch and thorough. What impressed us was how much they genuinely cared and would reach out with calls and emails to determine just how my husband was faring. Whether it was at home or during one of his hospitalizations, they were there concerned and involved. They became family.
