The lady who did it worked quickly, but methodically, explaining each step of the process as she went. She made our experience feel safe and our daughter did so well. “I come to Port Aransas Texas every October to write for a month. After having such a difficult year, having lost my mother and two very close family friends within 6 months I was sad and exhausted. A very close friend told me of a jewelry store in Corpus Christi that not only had been a fabulous store for them but it was filled with large specimens of natural rocks and precious minerals that they had collected. I walked in and met Victoria (Vicki) and Fred Mitchell who immediately felt like family. She lost her nerve when it was time to go through with it and it took a VERY long time for her to make up her mind and then screw up her courage. Carly, the ear piercing specialist in the store that day, was tremendously warm and encouraging. She treated our daughter with superhuman patience and lots of respect. The piercing process itself was affordable, quick, simple, done with careful attention to detail, the piercing environment was very clean and the equipment sterile. We received clear aftercare instructions and we have had no problems with the piercing after the fact. I was doubtful about whether to bring my child to a mall store for a piercing and we had considered going to a professional piercing salon instead.
